“We’d been considering solar for a while, but honestly, the whole process seemed pretty daunting – the cost, getting the permits, and arranging the installation. Insight Solar completely took the stress out of it for us. From the very first consultation all the way through to securing the permits and arranging our financing and the new roof installation, Adam, Christina, Leah and the whole team handled everything so seamlessly. We were particularly worried about needing a new roof before we could get the solar system installed, and they took care of scheduling that for us too! And the best part? It turned out to be surprisingly affordable, even with the new roof included. “I was really disappointed with Insight Solar. They came out for an inspection about two weeks ago to provide a quote for an EV charger, but we haven’t heard anything back. We’ve tried calling and sending messages repeatedly, and haven’t received any response at all. Unfortunately, their lack of communication makes them a poor choice if you’re looking for a responsive and helpful service.”

Overall, I’m really pleased with my experience with Insight Solar. I was looking to get a good understanding of solar for my home and spoke with a few different companies to compare. Insight stood out to me for a couple of key reasons. While the pricing was similar across the board, Insight’s offer, especially when they included the cost of a new roof – which I didn’t actually need thanks to a family connection – was the most competitive. But honestly, the biggest factor was Petrus, my sales representative. He was fantastic! He took the time to patiently explain everything to me, and he didn’t try to rush me into anything. He broke down the entire process in a way I could really understand, and I felt completely confident in his plan for my solar panels. Now, six months after installation in March, I’m thrilled to say I haven’t had to pay an electric bill – I’m actually accruing credits that will be a huge help during the winter. And I received my first SMART check a few months back. I couldn't be happier with Insight and, if everyone’s like Petrus, you’re in good hands!
