  “I’d strongly advise against working with this company and specifically Jivar Foty. We had a longstanding business relationship as Rise Construction’s subcontractor, and while his team admitted our design and development work was done to a high standard, he ultimately refused to pay the full invoice – a significant amount. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing that he ignored our repeated attempts to contact him and essentially treated us as if our services should be provided without payment.” report abuse

  “I’m extremely concerned about the driver’s behavior. There are serious safety issues – consistently tailgating, running red lights, and speeding. It’s unacceptable, and frankly, I’m worried he’s putting himself and others at risk. It’s disappointing that these concerns, which have been raised in previous reviews, aren’t being addressed.” report abuse

  “I had a really unsettling experience this morning while changing lanes on 2920. A Rise Construction pickup truck was following me closely, and when I moved over to get gas, he abruptly cut me off, laid on the horn, and gave me the finger. Honestly, it felt incredibly rude and unprofessional, especially considering he’d been behind me for quite a distance. I’m always willing to accept fault, but his reaction was completely unwarranted. It’s concerning to see other people mentioning similar aggressive behavior on the road – it seems like something needs to be addressed.” report abuse

  “Chris and Jamal were absolutely fantastic to work with! My husband and I completely gutted and remodeled our entire house – a huge undertaking – and we couldn't have asked for a better team.   “I can’t recommend Rise Construction. My experience with them was incredibly disappointing and frankly, a huge headache. I hired them to update my home after Hurricane Harvey, paying over $45,000 for paint, new windows, and laminate flooring. From the very beginning, the quality of the work was substandard – the floors were sinking and peeling, the windows were falling apart and attracting bugs, and the exterior paint looked like it was meant for the inside. I brought these issues to Chris, who simply said the floors needed to settle, but it was clearly a defective installation. Since then, they’ve completely stopped communicating with me. Chris, the construction manager, along with the company manager and the office assistant, have ignored my calls and texts. Chris has been promising to fix the floors, but now he’s just disappeared. The last time I heard from him was in November of 2021. Honestly, it feels like they’re trying to avoid dealing with the problems they created. I’m planning to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I’m considering further legal action. Save yourself the trouble and don’t do business with Rise Construction – it seems like a false sense of honesty.” report abuse

  “I can’t recommend Chris and his team highly enough! They were fantastic to work with – incredibly professional, courteous, and genuinely knowledgeable. You could tell they really knew their stuff. Everything was always done on time, and they took great care to clean up after themselves. The final result was exactly what I envisioned, and the quality was impeccable.   “We were absolutely blown away by the work Rise did for us after our home flooded. They truly went above and beyond, tackling every detail – from replacing the sheetrock and all the finishes like cabinets, countertops, and flooring – to even installing new appliances and updating the fireplace.   “I want to express my concern about the driving I witnessed on February 29th around 7:40 PM heading south on 45 towards Houston from the Woodlands area. It was really quite alarming – drivers were behaving very aggressively and recklessly.” report abuse
