  “I was really excited to start working with this team after their quick response to my initial inquiry. Unfortunately, things quickly fell short of that initial positive impression. The first scheduled call was missed without any warning, and I had to chase them down for an apology and a commitment to connect with a designer. When we finally managed to get a call in, it became clear I’d made a mistake with the date, and I’d proactively reached out to reschedule. Despite that, the designer didn’t contact me until 30 minutes after the original time. The discovery call itself felt a bit lacking – there weren’t many questions about my project, and I was simply told I’d get a quote the next day. When I didn’t hear anything by Wednesday, I followed up, only to receive an apology and a notification that they were dropping my project. Overall, I was really disappointed by the lack of communication and professionalism throughout this process. It’s a shame because their website gave me a great first impression, and I truly hope they use this feedback to improve the client experience.” report abuse

  “I was really concerned by the driver of the truck with license plate NSY. He was driving very aggressively, weaving in and out of traffic on Memorial Drive and forcing other drivers to brake suddenly. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend using their services.” report abuse

  Overall, we’d give this project a rating of 2 stars. While the electricians, plumbers, and other trades did a solid job, there were some serious issues with Construction Concepts that significantly impacted the project. We initially deducted one star due to a fraudulent invoice. They submitted a bill for roofing work that wasn’t covered by the contract, claiming to have landlord approval – which we investigated and found wasn’t true. They couldn’t provide any supporting documentation, and the subcontractor admitted to making the work themselves. Furthermore, the HVAC subcontractor, Zane Mechanical, was a major problem. They installed lower-capacity residential units instead of the required commercial units and didn’t follow the approved plans. We’re still dealing with unfinished work a year and a half later, including leaks in the fresh air supply and multiple open penetrations. Finally, we took a second star deduction because they failed to honor their warranty and address the ongoing deficiencies in the HVAC system, despite our repeated requests. Despite these significant issues, we acknowledge that the other trades performed well. report abuse
