  “We’ve been incredibly pleased with LBJ over the last seven years – they’ve handled everything from a big screened-in porch addition to smaller jobs around the house. The whole team is consistently professional, honest, and gets things done on time, and the quality of their work is outstanding. Drew, our project manager for the last two years, is a lifesaver! He’s always been patient and reliable, even with our sometimes chaotic household (including the family and pets!).   “Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this company’s customer service. While they did manage to schedule an estimator for me, the lack of communication and disregard for my specific request was really concerning. I clearly communicated that a technician shouldn’t arrive before 10:00 AM due to a prior commitment, and they confirmed they would respect that. However, the technician arrived at 9:30 AM without any knowledge of the agreed-upon time. When I requested a supervisor to address this issue, the representative responded with an incredibly dismissive attitude, essentially stating that staff weren't permitted to check their phones while driving. Ultimately, I decided not to continue working with them given the complete lack of professionalism and respect for my needs.” report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience! They started my remodel right at the beginning of the lockdown, and they were incredibly diligent – working every day and keeping the house spotless with daily vacuuming and mopping. Everyone was so professional and took great care to protect my home. I really appreciated the detailed morning notifications about who would be there and when. Honestly, the disruption to my daily life was minimal, and the team was just so thoughtful and helpful. They finished the project exactly on time, and I’m thrilled with the quality of their work – it’s outstanding. Plus, their project app was fantastic!   “I’m really pleased with how things have turned out after LBJ was working on my neighbor’s condo and a water line burst, causing some damage to my unit.   “My experience with LBJ Construction was incredibly disappointing. I reached out to them twice, primarily due to the devastation from the Harvey flooding, and unfortunately, both times I was left feeling extremely frustrated. The first time, I was getting estimates for a remodeling project, and the contractor seemed to have a shockingly limited understanding of basic construction issues – he couldn’t differentiate between spray foam and fiberglass insulation, and his suggestions for repairs like drywall and siding were completely off. Honestly, I knew more about those jobs than he did. Because of that, I didn’t even consider them. The second contact was even worse; I was desperate for help with my flooded house, and the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive, essentially telling me they were too busy to take my call and yelling at me. It was one of the most unpleasant phone calls I've ever received. I truly believe LBJ Construction needs to seriously address their approach and professionalism.” report abuse
