  Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend Harri’s Marine Services. I’d give them zero stars if I could. I had a really bad experience with them – specifically with haulout services for my boat, and I really advise you to avoid going there if you can. I ended up paying a huge sum of money and the result was completely unsatisfactory. report abuse

  “During our May 2019 cruise on the Oosterdam, we were quite concerned to discover there weren’t any life vests available for children. A few days later, while in Juneau, a taxi driver recommended Harris Plumbing – it seemed a bit out of the blue, but thankfully it turned out to be a really quick and successful experience.   Harris and his team are doing fantastic work – they’re really dedicated and go above and beyond, tackling tough jobs with a positive attitude, no matter the weather. They’re skilled with fiberglass, electrical work, and motor repairs, and they get the job done efficiently. Definitely recommend checking them out! report abuse

  “We scheduled work on our boat six months ago, and when we finally got it to Hoonah – after taking the ferry from Juneau – it was great to finally get the process started. However, it quickly became clear that the timing wasn’t quite right, given the scheduling issues.” report abuse

  “I’m really disappointed with this dealer. For the past two years, they’ve been servicing my boiler using the incorrect parts, and even when I’ve provided them with the exact model and brand information, they’ve continued to sell me the wrong components for the last four years.   “This place has a really impressive selection of marine supplies – they’ve got a good range of fishing gear and even some nautical charts specific to Southeast Alaska. They also stock a solid amount of plumbing supplies and a decent variety of stainless cable, rope, and galvanized chain. Just be aware that things are on the pricier side.” report abuse

  “Overall, I was really impressed with the customer service – they were helpful and offered some basic advice when I needed it, which was a nice change from my usual experience. They also had a really solid selection of marine supplies, including things like bilge pumps, boat heaters, and plumbing supplies, which is exactly what I was looking for.” report abuse

  Honestly, this place felt really disappointing. It seemed overpriced, and the organization was a bit lacking. The cleanliness could also be improved, and unfortunately, there were a few customers who were quite rude, but they still served them. It just gave the impression that the owner wasn’t particularly invested in the business. report abuse
