  Working with Harpe Builders was truly a fantastic experience. Phil and Tricia were both absolutely incredible – Phil was so honest, responsive, and really valued our input, and Tricia was a lifesaver, especially when things got stressful; she was incredibly patient with us. Jason deserves a huge thank you too for keeping us on schedule. From the very beginning, everything was completely transparent, with no surprises or hidden costs.   “Overall, working with Harpe on this project was a really challenging experience. We encountered a significant number of issues that caused considerable frustration. Initially, we faced unexpected costs, including an extra $1700 for unexpected dirt removal, and several changes to the original contract that added significant out-of-pocket expenses. Communication was also a major problem – we repeatedly tried to reach them by phone and email, but often went unanswered, particularly after we moved in and were dealing with outstanding repairs and unfinished work. Adding to the difficulties, there was a lot of staff and subcontractor turnover throughout the building process, which led to a lack of consistency. Ultimately, the project finished two months behind schedule, and we experienced several instances of unprofessional and frankly, rude interactions with the team.” report abuse
