  I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience working with Long Surveying. Initially, I was thrilled with their quick service and low price, but that quickly changed when we discovered a serious problem with the initial survey. The survey incorrectly showed a fence on my neighbor’s property, despite the fact that the original fence was built on their land and properly surveyed. To make matters worse, a crew returned to my property without any prior notification, simply moving a wood lathe to match the faulty survey. It took a huge amount of effort and persistence to get them to acknowledge the error. I even uncovered further evidence – a second iron pipe on my property that the survey completely missed, and it’s clear the original survey was fundamentally flawed. It’s now obvious that the Long Survey was a sham, particularly when compared to the physical evidence and previous surveys, including one from 2008. The inaccurate depiction of the iron pipe and its impact on property boundaries is deeply concerning. Communication has been virtually non-existent when addressing these critical issues. I’d give them five stars for speed and price, but only one for the complete lack of communication when problems arise. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received from this company. During a survey on a neighboring property, they severely damaged our land – they cut our cable, created large holes in our lawn, and even threw our survey stakes into the street. When I contacted them, specifically Brett, to report the damage, he completely dismissed our concerns, blaming the cable company for not digging deep enough. Despite explaining the significant inconvenience and the fact that my husband was out of work for a half-day waiting for the issue to be resolved, he refused to offer any apology or acknowledgment of their mistake. Honestly, the entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I strongly advise anyone considering using this company to be very cautious – I would absolutely not recommend them and definitely wouldn’t hire them. report abuse
