  “I had a really strange experience with Russell & LeMay back in the day – over 30 years ago. They insisted I pay cash upfront before they’d even come to take a look at my plumbing issue. It was unlike anything I’d ever encountered; no other plumber had ever requested payment beforehand. I ended up going with a different company and haven’t returned.” report abuse

  Honestly, this was a terrible experience. They were scheduled to install a new furnace last week, but never contacted me to reschedule when they had to push the appointment back. Then, they called the next day to reschedule again, and after we’d already adjusted our plans, they couldn’t give us a firm date. It felt completely disorganized and unprofessional – they were completely unresponsive and left us in the dark about when they’d actually arrive. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received. I contacted them multiple times about a problem with my tankless water heater – they’d installed it for me – but never got through to anyone. When I finally had to call a different technician, they discovered the original installation was faulty, which caused the outage. It’s just awful, especially considering I’d used their services for 30 years. I expected much better communication and a resolution. report abuse

  “I haven’t used their plumbing services yet, but I’ll definitely be calling them if I ever need anything. I was really touched by one of their employees’ kindness – he paid for my McDonald’s breakfast when I was having a tough morning. It was such a small thing, but it really made a difference and I paid it forward too. It was at the Fourche Dam Pike location, and it just made me feel good about the day.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly frustrated with the billing process. I contacted them to have a mistake – a billing error for a house I don’t own – corrected, but the representative, Dorothy, was completely unhelpful. She refused to acknowledge the issue and, when I insisted on having my name removed entirely from the bill, she became aggressive and hung up on me. Now I’m still being billed for a debt that isn’t mine, and I’m worried a credit reporting agency will flag it as an outstanding balance. It’s unacceptable that she wouldn’t resolve the problem and then ignored my calls afterward. report abuse
