I was initially connected with Alex, who sent a superintendent out to assess the property. However, it took nearly two weeks of back-and-forth communication to finally receive an estimate – and even then, it wasn’t what I expected. The estimate, presented as an “Interior Budget” for $372,500, completely missed key elements like doors, light fixtures, plumbing, countertops, and even major systems like HVAC and sprinklers. It felt like a very high-level overview without any detail. When I questioned why it wasn't itemized, Alex insisted it was, but when I explained what an itemized estimate actually means, he claimed he needed the plans. Honestly, the whole process felt like a significant waste of time, and the estimate was far too broad and excluded almost everything. If you’re looking for a detailed, transparent approach to your remodel, I would strongly advise against using General Contractor Los Angeles.” report abuse
