  Overall, Sean and Onyx General Construction did a fantastic job transforming our house. We hired them for a really ambitious project – a complete remodel of our entire home, including a 3,500-square-foot addition and a full renovation. They completely reworked the interior, changing the floor plan and adding a hallway to create a much more functional space. The scope of the work was huge, involving everything from gutting the old flooring and walls to completely replacing the plumbing, electrical, windows, and doors with new, modern upgrades. I was particularly impressed with the custom kitchen they built – the handcrafted cabinets and skylights really elevated the space. They also put in a lot of work to alter the structural elements of the house, which was essential to the remodel. Finally, the exterior transformation was a huge improvement, with the new stucco giving our home a fresh, modern look. I would definitely recommend Onyx General Construction. report abuse

  “Sean and his team at Onyx were fantastic – we couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom! They really took care of everything, from the stunning new tile floor and marble in the bath and shower, to the brand-new tub and shower door. Plus, they completely revamped the plumbing and electric. The drywall, painting, and fixture installation were all done to a really high standard.   Sean did an absolutely fantastic job renovating my bathroom! I’d heard great things about him through Nextdoor, and he definitely lived up to the hype. He came right on time with a really reasonable quote, and he tackled the whole project – removing the old vanity, painting, patching, installing a new sink and faucet, and even building and hanging a medicine cabinet and some hooks – with impressive skill. What really stood out was his incredible patience and willingness to help when Wayfair sent me a sink that just didn't fit. He went above and beyond, spending extra time shopping locally until he found a perfect Kohler sink! I was so relieved and grateful for his help with the Wayfair issue.   Sean was absolutely fantastic – we couldn’t have asked for a better contractor! He completely transformed our kitchen in just two weeks, handling everything from removing the old countertops and installing our beautiful granite, to completely updating our appliances like the range and dishwasher. He even took care of some unexpected issues like fixing our outdoor lighting and a leaky toilet. What really stood out was his skill and attention to detail – the painting around the granite backsplash was truly perfect! Sean was incredibly reliable and kept us updated throughout the whole process, and he was just a really nice guy to have around.   Sean was fantastic – truly a reliable and skilled professional I can wholeheartedly recommend. I’ll admit, I’ve sometimes been a challenging client when it comes to home projects, but Sean handled everything with incredible patience and understanding. He never made me feel rushed or dismissed, and he always took the time to explain things clearly and reassure me throughout the process. I’ve hired him for a few different projects, including replacing and building a beautiful, secure double gate, adding and painting a fantastic amount of privacy lattice to my fence, and even tackling the job of burying exposed wires from my garage. He not only did a stunning job painting everything – the gate, the fence, the lattice, and even my house trim – but he also added some much-needed outlets. Honestly, everything looks amazing, and I feel so much safer with the new security measures he put in place. And the best part? My dog absolutely loves him!
