  “We absolutely loved working with Onyx General Construction! We recently had them remodel our kitchen and laundry room, plus replace the hardwood floors throughout a good portion of the house, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. What really stood out was Sean – he was incredibly responsive from the very beginning, quickly providing a quote and getting the project rolling. The team was incredibly efficient, making great progress very quickly. While a remodel is always disruptive, Onyx went above and beyond to minimize the inconvenience and were consistently respectful and friendly. They were also surprisingly mindful of noise levels, which is a huge plus. We had high expectations for this project, and they absolutely delivered. We did encounter a few unexpected issues with an older house, but Sean handled them brilliantly, working collaboratively to keep costs under control. Communication was fantastic – always prompt, professional, and courteous.   “I couldn’t recommend Onyx Construction and Sean highly enough. I used him on two separate projects and was consistently impressed with his skill and professionalism. He completely revamped my bathroom, fixing up a previous handyman’s work and adding a beautiful new surround to my bathtub, along with all new plumbing and a fresh paint job. He was incredibly meticulous, kept the workspace spotless, and was always so polite and professional. What really stood out was his communication – even when I was away, he sent daily photos and updates, which gave me complete peace of mind. Then there was the bigger project – adding an extension to my ADU. There were definitely some unexpected challenges along the way, but Sean handled everything with ease and helped me make smart, cost-effective decisions.   Sean and Onyx General Construction did an absolutely fantastic job transforming our home. They tackled a huge project – a complete remodel and addition that added nearly 4,000 square feet to our house! They completely redesigned the layout, which involved a lot of work gutting the old space and reworking the floor plan with a new hallway. Everything was updated, from the plumbing and electrical systems to the windows and doors. What really stood out was the beautiful custom kitchen they built – the hand-crafted cabinets and skylights really brightened up the space. They put in a significant amount of work reinforcing the structure, and the final result – with the new stucco exterior – is stunning.   “Sean and his team at Onyx really knocked it out of the park with our bathroom remodel! They tackled everything – new tile flooring, beautiful marble in the bath and shower, a new tub and shower door, a vanity with double sinks, and completely revamped the electrical and plumbing. Plus, they took care of all the drywall and painting and installed all the new fixtures. Sean was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process, keeping us well-informed every step of the way.   “Sean was fantastic! I’d heard really good things about him through Nextdoor, and I’m so glad I went with his recommendations. He tackled a whole bathroom renovation for me – removing the old vanity, painting, patching, installing a new vanity and faucet, and even building and hanging a medicine cabinet and some hooks. He was really patient with the whole process, especially when Wayfair sent me a sink that didn’t fit. Sean went above and beyond, driving around to find a compatible sink, and eventually he tracked down a perfect Kohler sink! Honestly, I couldn’t have done it without his help navigating the issues with Wayfair. He’s a true professional, incredibly reliable, and just a really nice guy.   “Sean was absolutely fantastic – we couldn’t have asked for a better contractor. He completely transformed our kitchen, handling everything from removing the old countertops and installing our beautiful granite, to hooking up all the plumbing and appliances. Plus, he even tackled some unexpected issues like fixing our outdoor lighting and leaky toilet! His attention to detail was incredible, especially the perfect painting around the granite backsplash. Sean was always in close contact, incredibly reliable and punctual, and just a really nice guy to work with. Seriously, the whole project – a major kitchen makeover – was finished in just two weeks!
