  Building our dream home with Tim O’Brien has been an absolute joy. As a newly single dad wanting to create a wonderful new life for myself and my three children, I was so grateful for the incredible support we received. Amy Roehl, our building consultant, went above and beyond to understand our family’s needs and preferences. She was always so responsive to our questions about different floor plans and design choices, and we truly love our new home – it’s a real dream come true!   Jamie did a fantastic job helping us through the initial stages of planning and getting bids for our new home. She was incredibly professional and kept everything so well-organized, making sure we had all the details we needed about the lot sites and neighborhood rules.   Samantha was absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the entire process. We ended up deciding to buy a house instead of building, which was purely a matter of timing – there just weren’t many properties we were excited about available at the time, and we were eager to move in. We especially loved the Sweet Briar home and enjoyed our visits to some properties in Milwaukee. Samantha was incredibly helpful, always answering our questions, providing estimates, and supporting us for many months. It was also really nice how supportive she was when we ultimately decided not to build – she was so positive and congratulatory. She’s a truly top-notch professional and a wonderful person to work with; I’m confident we would have been delighted with the build process had we chosen to go that route. report abuse

  “I’m so incredibly disappointed with my experience building with Tim O’Brien Homes. I had built with them before and, frankly, was expecting a higher standard of quality, but things have gone terribly wrong. Just six days ago, my freezer completely died, and I’ve lost over $1000 worth of food. The process of getting it fixed has been a nightmare. I contacted Nonn’s Appliance, who then passed the issue on to Samsung, and it’s been a constant back-and-forth with no clear resolution. They’re telling me I have to navigate Samsung’s approval process *after* the repair is done, which makes absolutely no sense. It’s clear they chose Samsung appliances, and that’s been a major problem – these appliances seem to break frequently and the entire process for getting them repaired is unbelievably slow and complicated. Honestly, I’m beyond frustrated. Given the issues I’ve faced, I wish I’d gone with a different builder.” report abuse

  “Working with Tim O’Brien and his team was an absolutely fantastic experience. Renee was amazing – so friendly, approachable, and really took the time to understand exactly what we were hoping to achieve and create a beautiful home that fit perfectly within our budget. She was also incredibly responsive and made the whole process of looking at different house plans so much easier. Renee consistently checked in with us to ensure we were happy every step of the way, and we truly felt like she was our biggest advocate. Mallory was fantastic too, especially during the selections phase. She was great at getting to know our style and preferences, and she presented us with so many options in a way that made everything feel cohesive. We honestly had a lot of fun making those decisions! Justin was also a huge help, keeping us updated on the construction progress and timeline with weekly check-ins. And after we moved in, Eric has been fantastic for handling any warranty work – he's been incredibly responsive and helpful.
