  “We unfortunately had a really frustrating experience with Architectural Building Arts. We hired them to add a small room (9’x15’) to our home with a budget of $200,000. They initially asked for a $5,000 upfront payment to create some sketches. However, when we reviewed the plans, they presented us with three options, all significantly higher than our budget – $286,000, $341,000, and $352,000. Ultimately, we didn’t move forward because they weren’t able to accommodate our financial constraints. We ended up regretting the $5,000 we spent on the initial proposals. If you’re looking for a small project, I’d advise you to carefully consider whether Architectural Building Arts is the right fit – they seem to specialize in larger, more expensive builds.” report abuse

They really took the hassle out of our backyard patio project, coordinating everything from the construction to working with Formecology. They also handled some external carpentry repairs, painting, and even the installation of new storm windows. Living in a historic preservation district, we especially appreciated their expertise in managing all the necessary permits and interactions with the preservation board.
