Linda, who initially contacted me, seemed quite hesitant and wasn’t very receptive to my ideas. She even hung up on me mid-conversation and didn't return my call. It was frustrating, especially after reading such positive reviews – I felt like they didn’t give me a fair opportunity to discuss my vision or schedule a visit for a quote.” report abuse

  I reached out to Sweeney for a quote on moving a dryer vent, and my experience was really frustrating. Kari initially responded quickly, asking for photos which I sent right away. However, instead of offering a price, she kept questioning the type of vent and brought up concerns about an “illegal placement,” even though I clearly explained it was a dryer vent. Then, after I expressed my disappointment about not receiving a quote, I was passed to Lane, the project manager, who ultimately connected me to Sweeney himself. Sweeney refused to give me any further information or explain why he thought the placement was an issue. He just kept repeating that small projects were impossible to estimate and insisted I needed someone to come out for $110 an hour plus a trip charge. He wouldn't elaborate on the “illegal placement” concern, and it felt like he was dodging the question. Honestly, the whole interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. Because of this, we decided to move on and are scheduling appointments with other highly-rated handymen to get a proper quote and assessment. report abuse

  “We were absolutely thrilled with the shower renovation – it was a truly seamless experience from start to finish. The team was incredibly professional and it was so reassuring to know they could handle everything while we were on vacation, even a complete overhaul like this. They expertly removed our old shower and installed a beautiful new surround, and they took care of all the details like coordinating the plumber and handling the drywall repairs and painting.
