    Overall, we’ve been really pleased with Momentum’s work. We’ve had our solar panels up and running for a month now, and the whole experience has been fantastic. I’d just like to offer one piece of advice – if you have any questions about the installation process, don’t hesitate to call the main customer service number; we found them to be much more responsive than reaching out to the project manager directly. Our sales rep, Enes, was a huge help. We were a little nervous after seeing a lot of positive reviews based on the initial sales interaction, but Enes was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, and he took care of a couple of extra agreements we needed. He really went the extra mile to make sure everything was handled correctly. From start to finish, the process was surprisingly smooth. Everyone involved – the initial inspector, the design engineer, our project manager, the construction team, the post-construction inspector, and the customer service team – were all really friendly, helpful, and professional. They were great at explaining the project’s status and what to expect next. Momentum even handled all the permitting with the city, and our city’s electrical inspector was really impressed with their work. We were through the whole process in just 45 days – from signing the contract to getting approved and connected! (It helped that we’re in Malden, close to a National Grid maintenance base.) We put their workmanship to the test with some pretty intense weather right after installation, including strong winds and storms, but so far, everything is performing perfectly. All the panels are still attached and producing as promised. We’d definitely recommend Momentum for their services. report abuse

    I was really disappointed by the way Momentum Solar contacted me. A representative called me at 7:40 pm – completely out of the blue and without any identifying information on the caller ID. It’s just unsettling to be cold-called like that, especially by someone working from home to make sales calls. Honestly, I don’t need someone to pressure me into buying solar panels; I would have researched this myself if I were actually interested. I wouldn't have waited for a call like this, and I definitely wouldn’t choose Momentum Solar based on this unwelcome experience. report abuse

    I’m incredibly disappointed with the entire experience. From the start, there was a complete lack of customer service – they failed to secure the necessary permits, leaving me paying for unusable solar panels for six months and losing out on the promised $10,000 rebate. After just three months of operation, the panels stopped working, and it’s now been over a month with no resolution. Adding to this frustration, I spent today taking time off work only to be completely ignored by the company. I contacted the 1888 line, and was told there isn’t even a manager or supervisor available to speak with, which is simply unacceptable. I’ve been left with no way to follow up and get this situation resolved. report abuse

    Overall, we’re pretty happy with Momentum – we were really excited about the potential savings and impressed with their reputation. The initial process was smooth, but we did experience some frustrating delays. Our sales guy was a nice young man, but he became difficult to reach and we started to worry about the progress of our project. Things really turned around when Enes took over. He was fantastic, genuinely apologetic about the delays and immediately got us on track for installation. Honestly, we wish Enes had been our primary contact from the beginning because it would have saved us a lot of stress. It’s hard to say for sure, but we truly believe having Enes involved from the start would have gotten us up and running much sooner. Momentum is a big company, and if you're a Massachusetts homeowner, I’d definitely recommend asking for Enes – he was a lifesaver! report abuse
