  Overall, the team is very friendly and easy to communicate with. However, I feel like the services offered could be significantly expanded. They’ve stopped providing regular maintenance and no longer handle replanting services, which became particularly apparent when one of our date palms was unfortunately blown over by the wind. We were then referred to Silver Fern Landscaping, but they weren’t able to assist due to what was explained as extremely high demand. report abuse

  “We absolutely loved working with CYC Landscaping! Mark and his team were incredible – they really listened to our vision for our new home in North Scottsdale and created a stunning outdoor space that completely blew us away. They started with a blank canvas and turned our ideas into the most beautiful hardscape and landscaping design we could have imagined. What really stood out was Mark’s attention to detail and his willingness to work within our budget. He consistently offered great alternative solutions without ever compromising on the design. They even built our outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and a half-sized basketball/pickleball court – it’s truly a dream come true! It’s hard to describe how amazing it all looks together (though Mark provided detailed plans beforehand), but we’ve received so many compliments from our guests, and we couldn’t be happier.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with CYC. I hired them for a landscaping installation and ongoing yard maintenance, expecting a genuine care for my plants and a professional service. Unfortunately, that’s far from what I received. I was initially told the maintenance team would be like gardeners, actively nurturing my plants and managing the landscape timers. However, we’ve consistently had different crews, and my concerns about the plant health and my skyrocketing water bill have been completely ignored. They even admitted the plants were being over-watered, yet they still couldn't cut my grass due to the excessive moisture. I contacted the office repeatedly to address these issues, but my complaints were simply dismissed. Promised callbacks never arrived, and the issue of the six dead hopseed plants they damaged has gone unresolved. There’s a complete lack of communication between the crews and the office – they’ll tell you what you want to hear to get the job, and they never follow through. Considering I paid over $7,000 for this service, I'm utterly let down by their broken promises and lack of accountability. I strongly advise against using CYC. report abuse

Their subcontractors were reliable and did fantastic work. Throughout the entire process, they kept me in the loop, and they managed everything so smoothly. I actually had them do the same work in my back yard afterward, and I’ve been getting so many compliments on how beautiful and well-maintained everything is. They even followed up with me long after the work was finished, checking on the trees and plants and making sure the watering schedules were running correctly.
