  “I had a really frustrating experience after responding to an online ad. The salesperson, Justin, was quite rude and just hung up on me while I was talking. It was incredibly inconvenient for him to call me on a weekend and then not follow up with a text as he’d initially contacted me. Asking for my address right away felt intrusive, especially since the ad had misled me about a free AC unit. When I mentioned I already had solar, he abruptly ended the call. Honestly, the whole interaction felt incredibly unethical – the misleading ad combined with his aggressive sales tactics is really concerning.” report abuse

They’ll heavily promote a government credit to help cover the cost of their product, and they’ll structure a contract with reduced monthly payments that are only meant to be covered by the credit after 18 months. However, the actual IRS credit is spread out over three years. The real catch is that if you don't pay the final portion of the service within that 18-month timeframe, you’re locked into a 25-year contract with triple the original monthly payment.
