  “My husband and I were really pleased with Tom Nichols Excavating. They went above and beyond by sending a representative out to our property to assess the site before giving us a quote – something we hadn’t experienced with other companies. He even identified a potential issue with the gas meter affecting equipment access and proactively suggested we contact the gas company to resolve it. Ultimately, we had the meter rotated and hired Tom Nichols, and we felt they really understood our project. They arrived on time and completed the dig quickly and efficiently, even though it turned out to be a challenging dig that took two days. They stuck to the originally quoted price and didn't add any unexpected charges. The team was incredibly polite, professional, and respectful of our property.   Tom Nichols Excavating did a fantastic job with our pool installation. They were professional and incredibly reliable – they actually finished the dig a few days ahead of schedule, which was a huge relief. The crew was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and you could tell they were really experienced. Because our pool is quite large, it took two days to excavate, but they were always punctual and did a truly excellent job, meeting all of our specifications perfectly.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. Following a hit-and-run involving one of their drivers, the owner, Tom, has refused to take any responsibility and hasn’t provided any information regarding their insurance. I’m now left with no choice but to seek legal advice, and frankly, I’m appalled by their lack of accountability. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. report abuse
