I worked with them on a really complex project – transforming a long-vacant art gallery, which had suffered significant water damage and was seriously behind on building codes, into a modern office space. They handled everything, from the initial architectural design through the entire construction process. Having both the architectural and construction teams working together was a huge benefit; it really allowed us to move at a fantastic pace. Mike was my main point of contact at the start, and he was fantastic – incredibly patient and detail-oriented, and he took the time to explain everything to me, which was invaluable since I was new to this kind of project. Then Trevor became my day-to-day project manager, and he was just brilliant. He genuinely cared about the project and his passion really shone through. Honestly, I went into this project a little apprehensive, having heard so many stories of construction delays and problems. But WDS was a completely different experience. They were all just really great people – honest, friendly, and communicated exceptionally well.   “We were incredibly pleased with the work WDS Commercial did for us over the past year. They handled everything – from completely redesigning and building out an entire floor in a very complex, old building – to getting it fully up to code. Mike, their head, was a fantastic leader; he immediately recognized the potential of the space and identified all the challenges before we even started. Trevor, our project manager, was truly outstanding. He expertly coordinated the entire team – including the architects, engineers, and numerous subcontractors – and kept us constantly informed throughout the entire process. He skillfully navigated all the city permits and inspections, and we couldn’t have done it without his attention to detail and proactive problem-solving. Trevor was also incredibly mindful of our budget, diligently getting multiple bids from subcontractors at every stage. And to top it all off, they provided detailed documentation with photos of the transformation, which really added a personal touch to the project.
