  I had a really frustrating experience with Metzgers. The work they promised wasn’t done as agreed, and frankly, it was a complete mess. They didn't even scrape off the loose paint or power wash the surface, despite what was in the contract. The painter misled me about the work being done, and then tried to raise the bill by blaming it on a lack of skill and effort. I ended up having to take six days off to oversee the project because the painter was rushing and skipping important prep steps. The owner, Jeremiah, even admitted the painter hadn't done everything correctly, but he was still argumentative about it. Honestly, I strongly advise against using Metzgers – you’re much better off finding a different painter. report abuse

  Rodney Steven Colter’s experience with this company was unfortunately disappointing. Initially, Chris Fernandez seemed professional and I’d specifically requested the paint color match his assessment that day. The other employees, Rusty Markiur and Javier Luna, were also professional, and I appreciated Jeremiah, the owner, who was a pleasant person. However, Mr. Fernandez provided some inaccurate information, and despite our efforts to correct it, we ultimately decided to move the project elsewhere to ensure the final color matched my original vision. report abuse

  Chris and Oscar did a decent job with the closet work, particularly Oscar’s painting. However, there were some issues with the final outcome. Initially, we discussed “fine-tuning” the closets, specifically addressing the jams and frames – and I expected those to be included in the work. Oscar did a good job filling in the cracks and smoothing the areas, but the overall job wasn’t fully completed. After paying the additional $200 I’d requested to finish those specific areas, the owner then threatened a lien, and the work remains unfinished. I’d really appreciate it if Chris or Oscar could contact me to discuss getting this finalized, rather than getting caught up in the owner’s concerns. report abuse
