  Shiretown truly went above and beyond for me. I’ve been incredibly impressed with their timeliness and professionalism on several projects, including a recent bathroom remodel where they expertly handled a very large mirror – the salesman and general manager were fantastic in accommodating my specific needs. Their tile work was outstanding, and I was particularly grateful that they completed my roof replacement during COVID, managing to do it quickly and with a competitive price. They’ve also taken care of roof and gutter repairs and even helped with some local business renovations. Honestly, I couldn't recommend them more highly, and I’ll definitely be using their services again in the future. report abuse

  Overall, the porch/deck work was done competently, but the experience was frustrating due to some communication issues and a lack of responsiveness. There were a few minor problems that took a long time to get addressed, and the team seemed unwilling to negotiate on the price, particularly after a concern about the dumpster service. I also noticed some damage to the gutters and hose, though I didn’t initially raise it as I worried it would lead to further complications. Sadly, Mark, the main contact, wasn’t particularly approachable or helpful. report abuse

  “Scott and his team did an absolutely fantastic job with our floors and the glass ceiling! They expertly matched the existing floor to the adjoining one, and the finished result is just beautiful. And the glass ceiling – they completely transformed it, re-glazing it and stopping that awful leak. We were amazed when it rained heavily afterward and we didn’t get a single drop inside!” report abuse

  “I was really impressed with the service I received. I drove all the way from Wellfleet to Plymouth for a windscreen replacement, and they did a fantastic job – really professional and courteous, which was especially appreciated as I’m a wheelchair user. They also handled a clock I had with me needing repair alongside the glass replacement, and everything was done quickly and at a great price. I couldn’t be happier – five stars!” report abuse

  I can’t recommend Shiretown Home Improvements and Glass enough. I’m moving soon, and I’m honestly going to miss my home – a home that Shiretown really helped transform. They were fantastic! They tackled everything from the vinyl siding on the front of the house, even replacing sections that were damaged when a door blew open, and then they completely replaced all my windows. What really stood out was their incredible service. They even came back later to replace the remaining windows one at a time, working around my budget. I was particularly impressed with the picture window – it was a really big job and took almost the whole day, but they didn’t hesitate to do it, and never once mentioned losing money. The quality of their work is outstanding; the windows look brand new, and they were just incredibly clean and caring throughout the whole process. report abuse

  “I’m incredibly frustrated with this company – it’s been a really disappointing experience. I invested a significant amount of money, over $30,000, and the final result was nowhere near what was promised. The new structure has major leaks and was clearly constructed poorly. To make matters worse, they repeatedly misled me, trying to hide the problems. The salesperson’s initial sales pitch didn’t reflect the actual quality of the work delivered, and I feel completely let down.” report abuse

  “We were incredibly disappointed with this company. We hired them to replace our siding and roof for $40,000, but shortly after the work was completed, we started experiencing leaks due to the rain. Despite contacting them nine times, they haven’t shown any concern or offered a solution. Frankly, we wouldn’t recommend them for anything beyond window installations.” report abuse
