Honestly, my experience with this rental place has been incredibly frustrating. I’ve had three separate attempts to rent equipment from them, and each time it’s been a terrible experience. They seem consistently unhelpful and argumentative. The first time, they went above and beyond – almost too much – hooking up my trailer, but then left it unhitched in their lot and argued with me for a significant amount of time. The second time, I rented a wheeled trencher that leaked oil constantly and stalled, and they didn’t seem to care at all when I brought it to their attention. And today, after confirming they had a tracked trencher, they told me none were available. It feels like a complete waste of time, and I wouldn’t recommend it – you’re really relying on luck to get a decent experience.

“We had a truly awful experience with Home Depot. We placed an order for two pallets of travertine, requiring full payment upfront and scheduling delivery for two days later. However, the delivery never happened, and we were ultimately told it was rescheduled two weeks later with no explanation. When the second delivery date arrived, we received a phone call to inform us they’d sold the travertine to another customer. The lack of support and the customer service representative’s aggressive response to my husband’s understandable frustration were completely unacceptable – it was a shockingly poor experience.”

Overall, my experience renting a Penske truck was a bit frustrating. The online booking process was really straightforward and easy, which was a plus. However, the pickup was significantly delayed, and the truck wasn't ready when I arrived. The staff were friendly, but seemed disorganized and hadn't prepared the vehicle properly. I also discovered that even though I’d ordered pads, they weren’t included, and I was advised to contact the Penske home office for a refund – a process that would take several days. It also seemed unusual that they didn’t provide pads or a dolly, even with my order. I ended up having to bring my own blankets, straps, and dolly. Returning the truck was also a bit confusing; the key drop-off location was tucked away and I had to ask for directions.

Overall, I’ve had really positive experiences at this Home Depot. I’ve used them for everything from renting tools to finding specific light bulbs, and the staff has always been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They really seem to know where everything is in the store, which is a massive time-saver for me. I’m genuinely very happy with the service and the store itself – it’s a great place to shop.

“I was looking to purchase a rental piece of equipment and unfortunately, the salesperson explained that I’d have to wait my turn – it felt a little disorganized. While I appreciate their fair prices and the convenience of their location, the customer service could definitely be improved with a smoother process.”
-
“The tool rental area needs a serious overhaul. Gus seems completely overwhelmed and doesn’t appear to have any customer service skills – he basically just directs people away. It’s really frustrating.”
-
“This place is fantastic if you’re looking to rent something – the team there is truly amazing!”
-
“I’ve consistently used this rental company for my work needs, and while they’re often quite busy, they manage to get the job done really well.”
-
“It was great – they had exactly what I was looking for and the price was really good. The staff were also super helpful.”
-
“Overall, the program itself is really easy to use and the pricing is reasonable. However, I did find the staff in that department to be quite unfriendly and unhelpful – it could definitely be improved.”
