  I’m incredibly concerned about this individual. Anyone considering hiring him needs to proceed with extreme caution – he has a clear pattern of disappearing with payments. I hired him for a remodel and paid him $22,500 upfront, but it’s been two years and I’ve heard nothing back. The situation has escalated to the point where we’re now involved in a court case. report abuse

  Chris and Northstar Commercial Construction were absolutely fantastic to work with. I’d previously struggled with a major liquor store project, facing huge cost increases and minimal progress despite hiring an architect. It was a really complex situation with the building’s existing layout and multiple additions. Honestly, I was seriously considering abandoning the project altogether. But Chris stepped in and, with his expertise and smart ideas, we were able to bring the project to a successful completion – and stay within budget!   Northstar did a fantastic job working on my commercial building. He completely soundproofed a three-car garage and even resolved some drainage problems by installing a new 15-foot drain to divert water away from the building. The estimate was really reasonable, and he finished the job promptly. I wholeheartedly recommend him! report abuse

  Chris seemed promising initially, but unfortunately, things quickly went south. The issues with the initial blueprints were a major problem, and he was unwilling to finalize payment despite the difficulties. It became clear he wasn’t a reliable partner – he talks a good game but ultimately doesn’t follow through. I wouldn’t recommend using him for a small project like a doghouse. report abuse
