From the initial drawings to the final build, they were incredibly professional and went above and beyond to help me. I really appreciated how patient and knowledgeable they were, answering all my questions (many of which were admittedly quite basic!) with enthusiasm.   Working with Chris Lapp and his team was an absolutely fantastic experience. We commissioned them to design our custom home in Bethesda in late 2020, and the result is stunning – a beautiful and incredibly functional design that really captures the neighborhood’s style. Chris does so many homes in the Bethesda area, he’s truly the go-to architect for achieving that perfect local look and feel. Chris himself is incredibly professional, smart, and reasonable. The only thing to note is that he manages a talented team of architects, and that sometimes getting a design exactly as you envision requires a few revisions. Because we were very particular about every detail – down to the exact placement of windows and soffits – it naturally took a little extra time to refine the design. Honestly, this isn’t an issue for clients who have a strong vision and a deep understanding of the nuances of design. Frankly, you won't get the level of expertise and dedication you’re getting with Chris, and someone who’s as busy and sought-after as he is, for significantly less.
