“Honestly, the construction on 12th Street has been completely unacceptable. As a General Contractor superintendent here in San Diego, I’ve never seen anything like it – especially considering the standards we have to maintain. Their site practices are seriously lacking; there were machines parked on the street without proper containment, piles of dirt and tar left blocking the road, and absolutely no dust control. It’s turned the street into a disaster, resembling Ocotillo Wells, and the storm drains are completely blocked. The foreman seemed completely uninterested in fixing the issues and just resorted to yelling and being unprofessional. Worse, they weren’t respecting traffic control requirements, blocking emergency access and nearly causing a confrontation with residents. I reported this to the State Water Board because the foreman crossed a line with his lack of knowledge and behavior. It’s a really embarrassing situation, and I strongly advise any GC or developer in San Diego to avoid this company. They clearly don't respect public safety, and I'm worried about the potential for fines and legal issues. They’re currently flooding houses with 120-degree water due to the botched highline, and frankly, the whole operation is a mess. Seriously, if you need a reliable wet utility contractor, I’d recommend someone like TC or Basil – they’re the professionals you want.” report abuse

“I’m extremely concerned about the work this construction company has been doing in our neighborhood. Their practices have been incredibly unsafe – the staging area was chaotic, there was a significant amount of trash and debris, and they blocked a major road with large concrete pieces without considering traffic flow. It felt like a serious accident waiting to happen, and frankly, very irresponsible.” report abuse

“I’ve been receiving a lot of calls from a customer with dyslexia who’s repeatedly dialed 1945 instead of 1495. I took the liberty of speaking with him and, playing along, suggested that installing a koi pond would cost around $200 per square foot. He’s really keen to get started tomorrow.” report abuse
