“I’m incredibly disappointed with the construction work happening on 12th Street. As a general contractor superintendent here in San Diego with 15 years of experience, I can tell you the standards they’re operating under are completely unacceptable. Their stormwater management plan – the SWPPP and BMPs – is shockingly inadequate; if they were half as bad, I’d be facing immediate fines and shutdowns. They’ve left the street in a terrible state: machines without drip pans, piles of debris in the road, and absolutely no dust control. It’s completely overwhelmed our drainage and looks like a disaster. The foreman is completely unresponsive, prioritizing yelling over fixing the problems, and their disregard for emergency access – specifically the lane needed for emergency services – was particularly concerning, including aggressive behavior towards residents. I’ve reported this directly to the State Water Board due to the foreman's unprofessional conduct. Honestly, it’s been one of the most embarrassing and frustrating operations I’ve ever witnessed. I strongly advise any GC or developer in San Diego to avoid this company – you’ll likely face significant fines, legal issues, and a whole lot of headaches. They clearly lack respect for public safety and are causing major disruptions for the neighborhood.”

“We’ve been really concerned with this construction company’s operation in our neighborhood. Their practices have been quite alarming – they seem to lack proper safety measures, the staging area is disorganized and creates a lot of trash, and they’ve blocked a significant portion of the road with large concrete pieces, which is incredibly dangerous and could easily lead to an accident. We’re worried about their lack of consideration for the community’s safety.”

“I’ve been receiving a lot of calls from a customer who seems to be having trouble with the number he’s dialing. He’s repeatedly calling in with 1945 instead of 1495. I spoke with him and, to try and help, I played along and told him that installing a koi pond would cost around $200 per square foot. He’s really keen to get started with the project tomorrow.”
