“I can’t recommend All Tech Solar enough! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. Chase and his team were incredibly reliable – always on time, completed the work exactly as scheduled, and kept me fully informed throughout the whole process. The quality of their work was outstanding, and they really took the time to ensure everything was done right. What was truly remarkable was how well their system performed during the recent SDGE power outage in Ramona. We were completely unaffected while our neighbors struggled with generators. It was amazing to see our system running perfectly, thanks to the batteries charging fully and the solar panels doing their job, even on cloudy days. Chase even texted me to check in when the outage happened – fantastic customer support! If you’re considering solar, batteries, or anything related, do yourself a favor and call All Tech. They genuinely care about their customers and deliver exceptional results.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the solar installation Alltech did for me. I started looking around in August and found Julian Solar Consulting – Julian’s great information on YouTube really helped me narrow it down, and he recommended Alltech for the actual installation. The whole process was incredibly smooth and surprisingly quick; they designed a system perfectly suited to my home, and the Alltech team was fantastic. On installation day, they were not just professional, but genuinely friendly and kept me fully informed. Chase, the owner, even personally checked in on the progress, and everything was done to a really high standard. It took about two days to complete the main installation, with a final inspection a week later. Seriously, Chase and Julian were amazing – they handled all the paperwork and permitting, and it felt like a complete, turnkey solution. Because of their quality and attention to detail, I’d say I’m a pretty demanding client, but I never had any doubts about Alltech. I wholeheartedly recommend them – they're a true class act!”

I had a really frustrating experience with AllTech Solar. About a year ago, I hired them to install 20 solar panels on my La Mesa property, and from the very beginning, I’ve been concerned about their performance. Several panels were consistently underproducing compared to the others, and despite my repeated attempts to address this with the owner, Chase Carmody, I received no real help. I contacted Enphase Energy, the company that makes the microinverters, and they confirmed my concerns – specifically, that the microinverters from Array #1 were underperforming. I provided Chase with this confirmation, but he dismissed it, suggesting I look at trimming trees for shading. He even insulted me, telling me there’s no such thing as a “solar emergency.” It’s clear that once AllTech Solar has your money, they disappear. They weren’t interested in resolving the issue or providing any support. I strongly advise against using this company.

Overall, our experience with Alltech was pretty frustrating. While the solar system itself seems to be working well – we’re actually producing more energy than we use – the installation process was handled poorly. We were really happy with the placement of our solar panels, but the location of the control panel was completely unexpected and unclear due to vague plans. They handled communication badly, blaming COVID for delays, which felt dismissive, especially considering my wife was home due to the pandemic. There were also some really upsetting moments, like when they just tossed a beautiful hibiscus plant – and a lot of overgrown bushes – aside during the installation. And they damaged our new gutters by leaning against them, and then broke our sprinkler system while trying to plant new shrubs. Honestly, the whole thing felt disrespectful to our property. We’d definitely recommend asking very detailed questions about the installation, particularly regarding the inverter. For future projects like a new roof and gutters, it’s important to ensure the gutters are installed *after* the solar panels to avoid damage. It's clear communication and respect for the homeowner’s property are crucial for a smooth process. That's why we're giving it a 3/5 – the system works, but the experience was far from ideal."

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Alltech Solar. I’d done a lot of my own research before contacting them, and I was pretty frustrated with other companies – one just offered a basic subpanel, and another gave me a quote without even looking at my home. Alltech was a completely different story. Julian was fantastic; he took the time to answer all my questions and really helped me understand the different options, like racking, panel size, and micro inverters, and how to size the system for my current and future energy needs. We ended up needing a new roof, but thanks to Alltech’s smart approach, we were able to delay the roof installation and still get a great deal – just 13 panels on my existing panel, with the option to upgrade later. And the price was even lower than the other companies! It’s worth noting that the demand for solar was really high at the time, which caused a four-month delay, and of course the weather wasn’t cooperating. But once they got started, the installation went really smoothly – three days for the entire roof, plus a day for the solar panels themselves, inspection, and approval. Everyone I worked with was great, even though I didn't meet Chase directly. Cody was a really helpful point of contact for questions, and Julian was always responsive via text. The panels are working perfectly and producing the expected amount of energy. I wholeheartedly recommend Alltech!”

“We were incredibly pleased with Alltech – they really stood out from the other solar companies we spoke with. We contacted them last year after receiving several quotes, and they were the only ones who took the time to actually assess our roof and our needs. Unlike some of the other salespeople we dealt with who seemed more focused on pushing specific products, Ken and Chase were genuinely knowledgeable and provided bids that perfectly matched our energy usage. What really set Alltech apart was their communication. Ken and Chase were fantastic to work with, always patient and willing to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. They took the time to explain everything clearly and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. They even hired a top-notch subcontractor to handle our roof replacement, and the entire process – from the inspection to getting approval – was incredibly smooth. Honestly, Alltech offered the best value and service, and we wholeheartedly recommend them if you’re considering solar for your home.”

“I was generally pleased with the Alltech solar installation itself, but I’m really disappointed with how they’ve handled the follow-up work. Specifically, the stucco damage they caused when installing the electrical panel hasn’t been addressed. Despite repeated requests to Ken, it’s been almost a year and the repairs are still outstanding. He keeps saying they’re busy, but it’s frustrating and feels incredibly unprofessional – the finished result looks quite poor.”

Overall, I’m really pleased with our experience with Alltech Solar. We chose them after speaking with Cy initially, and I was really impressed with his approach – he wasn’t pushy at all, patiently answered all of my questions about the panels, ties, and brackets, and clearly knew his product really well. It just felt like he genuinely believed it was the best solution for us. The installation itself was pretty smooth, done in just two days, and then we just had to wait a little while before we started generating our own power. We actually generated more energy than we used in our first month, which was fantastic! And I want to give a special shout-out to Alltech – they were incredibly patient with the financing process, which took longer than we anticipated. They were also really helpful when a small shrub got damaged by the trimmers, quickly replacing it for us. My only minor issue was that they didn't bring a sun reader during the roof assessment, which resulted in a slight adjustment to our power generation during installation, but we’ve since been generating plenty of power. I’d absolutely recommend Alltech Solar – I’d definitely use them again if I ever needed solar panels in the future.

“I’m genuinely puzzled by the lower ratings I’ve seen for AllTech Solar. I’ve been a customer for seven years and have consistently had fantastic experiences – truly the best I’ve encountered in my decade of working with solar companies. It’s been a really turbulent time in the solar industry with so many new companies popping up and quickly disappearing, leaving customers stuck with poor service. I went through that myself with a few companies in San Diego that were completely unresponsive and frankly, not very trustworthy. I’m so grateful I found AllTech Solar and especially worked with Chase Carmody. He’s been incredibly honest, responsive, and professional, and he’s always gone the extra mile, particularly for military veterans. Our communication is outstanding; he keeps a close eye on my system and quickly addresses any concerns, like when he coordinated the inverter replacements with Enphase and kept me informed every step of the way. Honestly, I’ve rarely experienced customer service this good in any business lately. AllTech Solar is the only solar company I’ll ever work with.”

Chase was an absolute lifesaver! He was working for my neighbor, but he went above and beyond to help us install a chimney cover. He even climbed onto our roof himself to do the job, and wouldn’t accept any payment – he just said it was the right thing to do. Honestly, if I hadn’t already got solar panels, I would have absolutely chosen this company for my own project.
