  Mickolas did a fantastic job with our maintenance – he was incredibly thorough and attentive, and we really appreciated him spotting and replacing that wire before it could have caused us a bigger issue later on.   I’ve been a Peterson customer for several years, both for my home and business, and frankly, I’ve been incredibly disappointed with their service. While it hadn't been a major issue until recently, I wouldn't hesitate to give them zero stars. It started with a new pergola we’d just installed in our backyard. A technician, Nick, damaged it while bringing the unit in – he insisted he hadn’t hit it, which was clearly a lie. Then, at our business, a leak developed in the ceiling, and after multiple checks, it was determined to be a problem with one of the A/C units. Again, Nick was the technician, and his diagnosis just didn’t make sense. Adding to the frustration, a different technician tried to sell my wife a part without involving Peterson, which felt really sleazy. Finally, our second A/C unit started acting up, and Nick blamed dirty air filters – a suggestion that didn't align with the problem at all. When I contacted the customer service representative, Ruben, he simply repeated Nick’s inaccurate diagnosis and offered a quote that was $1,000 higher than our previous purchase, with no explanation. It was clear he wasn't taking our concerns seriously. After dealing with Peterson for so long, I switched to ProSkill plumbing, who quickly and effectively diagnosed and resolved the issue for a fraction of the cost. It’s clear Peterson lacks competence and a genuine concern for their customers – we’ve decided to avoid them completely. report abuse

  “I really appreciated the extra effort a Peterson employee went to when I was looking for a part at Home Depot today. He stopped to help me completely on his own time, and even though Home Depot didn’t have the part I needed, he took the time to direct me to the correct store. He was just a really genuine and helpful person – it was clear he was motivated by a desire to assist, and I only realized he worked there because of his shirt.” report abuse
