  Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with the garage CMB Construction built for us this summer. The finished product is absolutely stunning and incredibly functional – it’s become the talk of the neighborhood! Colin was fantastic throughout the whole project; he really kept us involved, answered all our questions promptly, and visited the site every day to make sure everything was being done to a really high standard. He was also great at keeping on top of the contractors and always kept us updated on how things were progressing.   Colin and his team at CMB Construction completely transformed our house – adding a master suite with a garage underneath and renovating our entryway, porch, and the whole interior. The difference is amazing! Colin did such a fantastic job with the design and execution of the project, and I was really impressed with how communicative he was throughout.   Colin and his team did an absolutely fantastic job on our garage addition – it exceeded all our expectations. Seriously, we were so impressed with the quality of their work that we’ve actually hired them for several other projects since, including converting our old shed into a bar (you can see the pictures!). They really pay attention to detail and their crew has a ton of experience, which made everything run so smoothly. What really stood out was how communicative Colin was throughout the whole process – it’s a huge relief when your contractor keeps you updated.   Colin did an absolutely fantastic job remodeling our bathroom. My husband and I had really limited experience with renovations, so we were a little lost at first, but Colin was so patient and explained everything so clearly – he really walked us through the whole process. He also gave us great advice when we asked for it. We’re so thrilled with the quality of the work and the incredible attention to detail.   Colin did an absolutely fantastic job renovating our home – we’re so thrilled with the results! We hired him in January 2014 with the goal of having the whole thing finished by late June, and he not only met that deadline but delivered a truly beautiful transformation. Initially, we had a general idea of what we wanted, but Colin was brilliant at taking those vague thoughts and turning them into a really solid, detailed plan. He even used design software to create some amazing visuals that were incredibly helpful during the loan appraisal process. The renovation itself was quite extensive – we had a load-bearing wall removed and replaced with a post-and-beam structure, built a custom shower in the master bathroom, added a slider door and deck, and completely updated the bathrooms with new plumbing, vanities, and ventilation. We also got new granite countertops in the kitchen and hardwood floors on the first floor, along with fresh paint throughout the house. What really stood out was Colin’s professionalism. He was consistently punctual for meetings and always on-site, which was particularly reassuring as we were living in an apartment above our garage during the entire project. He also worked closely with my wife to manage the budget, and he handled any unexpected issues that came up with a real sense of expertise. We’re already considering hiring him for some smaller projects through CMB Construction, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and talented contractor. report abuse

  “From start to finish, working with CMB was an exceptional experience. They truly embody a dedication to service and have a rare combination of expertise and genuine patience – something we really appreciated, especially as first-time homeowners. Throughout the entire process, Colin and his team were incredibly responsive and willing to answer all of our questions, which we had plenty of! We were a bit worried our constant inquiries would be a burden, but they were always happy to explain things again and guide us through any uncertainties. We could always reach out to Colin, or any of the team, and we’d get a prompt response. Building a custom home naturally involves unexpected challenges, but CMB handled everything with incredible agility. When things shifted – like supply chain issues – they quickly adjusted and resolved every concern. It was clear they had a wealth of experience and knew how to navigate any situation. Beyond the team, we were also impressed by CMB’s extensive network of trusted local professionals – Boardman Valley Electric, Bay View Flooring, and many others – which ensured everything ran smoothly. And, importantly, they kept us fully informed about the budget and timeline from the very beginning. We finished slightly ahead of schedule and under budget, thanks to their careful planning and our willingness to make some tough decisions along the way. We now have a beautiful home that we've dreamed of for years, and we’re incredibly grateful for the trust and care CMB has shown us.
