“Despite our representative being out sick, the gentleman who stepped in was fantastic! He really took the time to show us the models we were looking at and they seemed like a great fit for what we needed. Hopefully we’ll be driving one by next Christmas!”

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend Clayton Homes. From the moment we took delivery of our home, it’s been nothing but issues. We’ve run into multiple problems with the quality and workmanship, and it’s been a real letdown. It feels like they stop taking care of you once the sale is complete—it’s like they’re done with us. We’ve seen some homes that look like they’re 15 years old and already showing wear and tear, which is concerning.

“My experience with Clayton Homes in Tucson was really disappointing. Not only were the homes themselves not up to par, but they completely failed to honor their warranty – I tried repeatedly to get in touch with them, but my calls went unanswered until the warranty had already expired.”
-
“We absolutely love our Clayton home – we bought it back in 2017. We wanted to give a huge thank you to our salesman and Robert, the manager, who were fantastic to work with throughout the whole process. It’s truly our dream home, and we just wanted to express our gratitude to them.”
-
Jan was fantastic – she really went above and beyond to help us find the perfect home. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and showed us several properties that fit our needs. We really appreciated her dedication.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience at this office. The staff has been consistently unprofessional – they never return calls and appointments are constantly rescheduled, leaving me waiting another week for the same information. Honestly, one star felt like the only way to express just how bad it was.
-
“Honestly, we wouldn’t recommend this company. Our experience was incredibly frustrating – it completely turned what should have been a wonderful first-time home buying experience into a real nightmare. It took them an unbelievable two years to actually deliver our house, which was completely unacceptable.”

Ms. Roberts at Clayton Homes of Tucson seems to be a key contact for the sales team.

Honestly, this was a really frustrating experience. From the very beginning, it felt like we were being ignored. Jan didn't seem to make an effort to remember us, and getting anyone to return our calls was incredibly slow. We ended up having to do almost all the work ourselves, going into the store to try and get information. It felt like Bryan was difficult to reach, and we got the impression he wasn't very engaged.

Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on that text: “I’m extremely disappointed with Clayton Homes. My experience, and the experiences of many others, point to serious ethical concerns with their business practices. Frankly, a quick look at online reviews – particularly on Google and through the Better Business Bureau – confirms my concerns. There’s a significant number of complaints, with a current BBB rating of just 1.22 out of 5 stars and over 120 complaints logged in the last twelve months. It’s clear many customers have had negative experiences, and I would urge anyone considering Clayton Homes to do their research thoroughly before proceeding.”
