Overall, this store has some real strengths and a couple of areas that need attention. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, which is a big plus. I especially appreciate the clearance plants – they’re perfect for a last-minute need, and they have a great selection of treats and lovins for my dogs. Plus, it’s fantastic when they actually have the items in stock, avoiding those long shipping waits. However, I’ve found the inventory numbers to be unreliable, and I've noticed several items are frequently available both here and on Amazon, sometimes even at the same price. Also, it would be beneficial for the electrical staff to be more familiar with MEA standards.

“I was really hoping to find a cordless weed trimmer for a group of us, but my experience at Lowe’s was incredibly frustrating. I spent nearly 30 minutes waiting to speak with someone, and the employee I finally approached just took a personal call instead of assisting me. Honestly, I was left feeling completely ignored and disappointed. I’ll be looking for a trimmer elsewhere, likely at AIH or Home Depot.”

“I just wanted to share an amazing experience I had at the Lowe’s in Wasilla, AK. Julie and Manager Kristen were absolutely fantastic – they went above and beyond to help me, and honestly, it was the best customer service I’ve ever received. I’d definitely recommend checking them out and will be shopping at Lowe’s for all my home improvement needs from now on!”

“I really need to shop here because of the selection they offer, but I’m consistently disappointed with the service. Recently, they refused to refund a brand new $80 Lennox hole saw kit that was missing a crucial part – it’s completely useless without it – and they just took it back to customer service. Then, just today, June 26th, I was charged twice for an item, and while they quickly corrected it, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the mistake. It’s frustrating because the staff often can’t seem to point me to where things are, making it feel like a guessing game, and they just avoid saying they don’t know. Honestly, it's a similar experience to Home Depot.”

“The store itself is decent, but there’s a really important issue that needs to be addressed – the women’s bathroom stalls. Most of the doors don’t close properly and you can’t lock them, which is a significant safety and privacy concern.”

“I recently visited the Pro desk to get a quote for a new roof, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The representative wasn’t helpful at all; he insisted on handling all the calculations himself and didn’t seem interested in using our measurements to determine the appropriate supplies. When we presented a quote from a competitor, he simply reduced their numbers without considering the items or offering any alternative options. Sadly, this experience has made us decide to go with another company.”

“We really appreciate Lowe’s letting us bring the puppy in for his service dog training – it’s fantastic that their locations offer these kinds of educational outings. We especially enjoyed exploring the Garden Center, even with the chilly weather (it was -15 outside!). We’re also looking at getting a snowblower and heater with all the upcoming snow, and we’ve been impressed with Lowe’s competitive prices and the helpful staff.”
-
“This is a really friendly and helpful place – they were great at assisting me with whatever project I had in mind, and they have an excellent selection of gardening seeds. My only suggestion would be to expand their range of bulbs, particularly those suitable for indoor growing during the winter months.”
-
“The team consistently provides excellent support across a range of products, and I really appreciate their willingness to offer discounts to military and veterans – it’s a thoughtful gesture.”
-
“Overall, it’s a nice store – they have a good stock of what they have in and the staff are always really friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be improved is having more staff available to assist with loading heavier items.”
