  I was incredibly grateful for Oriole’s help when we discovered a water problem in our basement just as we were finalizing a sale on our home. They were the only company that could respond so quickly, especially during the busy Fourth of July week – we absolutely needed the work done without delay to avoid postponing the settlement. Mark, the VP, went above and beyond by coming to our house himself to provide an estimate and understand our situation. Even though he was already on vacation with his family, he took the time to call me and try to assist with our homeowner’s insurance. It was truly remarkable that he made himself available despite being away with his family and even took the initiative to send an email to our insurance company. Selling a house is stressful enough, and it’s such a relief to know you have a company like Oriole you can trust, especially when unexpected issues arise while you’re managing things from out of state.   Overall, I had a fantastic experience with this team. Mark was incredibly helpful right from the start, patiently listening to my concerns about the flooding and quickly developing a solution. He was so easy to talk to and never pressured me into anything. It took a bit of time to get the service scheduled – about six months – but he was always willing to revisit the issue when I was ready. Once Jeff and Chris arrived, they were fantastic! They got the job done in less than a day, explained everything clearly, and were incredibly tidy. They even took great care of my dog, which was a huge bonus.   “We were so relieved to find Oriole – we’d bought a house and immediately discovered a persistent basement water problem. We were really looking for a company that could tackle the issue thoroughly and prevent it from recurring. Mark was fantastic from the start; he quickly assessed the situation, was incredibly confident in his approach, and never pressured us to buy anything extra. He explained everything so clearly, answered all our questions patiently, and got the work started really quickly. Once the work began, Jeff, the foreman, was amazing too. He kept us fully informed with detailed explanations, answered all our questions with in-person visits and lots of helpful phone calls and texts. The crew was consistently on time, worked incredibly hard – especially during one of the hottest weeks – and were genuinely friendly and respectful.   Oriole did an absolutely fantastic job waterproofing our basement! From start to finish, we were so impressed. Mark was incredibly responsive and took the time to thoroughly explain everything, and the whole team – David and his crew – worked incredibly hard to get the job done on time. They were also so accommodating, easily handling our little requests throughout the process without making us feel like an inconvenience. We even had some rain a couple of days after the work was completed, and Mark responded almost instantly, patiently answering all of our questions.   Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the work Oriole Basement Waterproofing did for us. We’d been battling a really frustrating problem with flooding in our basement for years, and thankfully, that’s completely over now. From start to finish, the team was fantastic. Shelby handled all the paperwork and communication so smoothly, and Mark did a brilliant job assessing our situation and explaining everything clearly, both from a practical and a financial standpoint. The installation itself was done by Adam and his team – Zack, Rodney, and Chris – who were truly professional, incredibly competent, and just incredibly hardworking. They got everything done in just two days: two french drains, digging two pits, installing two sump pumps with backup batteries, and a window drain. It’s amazing to know we no longer have to worry about a leak every time it rains, especially after those three pretty intense storms we’ve had since the work was completed.   Overall, I had a really positive experience with Oriole. Booking the appointment was straightforward, and they arrived right on time. I appreciated that they were receptive to the fact that I’d already consulted a structural engineer – it showed they were professional. They quickly assessed the problem and confirmed it was a relatively small job for them. It was also great to see how different this was from a previous experience where another company tried to recommend a bunch of unnecessary repairs.
