  Overall, I’d give Carpet One four stars. It was a really frustrating start – the first installer did a shockingly poor job, barely using any adhesive and leaving a huge mess. Honestly, it was incredibly disappointing after investing in new flooring. Thankfully, John really stepped in once we contacted them. He came out, listened to our concerns, and arranged for a completely new crew to redo the floors. They were fantastic – seriously, they even commented on the initial installer’s lack of attention to detail! The difference in quality was amazing, and now the floors look fantastic. I really appreciate how Carpet One took full responsibility for the initial mistake and went above and beyond to fix it. It’s clear that the level of follow-through is just as important as the quality of the work itself. report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with the installation from Carpet One. In June of 2022, they installed carpet in most of my house, but just six months later, we were already seeing noticeable path lines and bumps. After multiple calls, a technician came out and determined the seams needed stretching. Another installer was sent, who then realized the carpet hadn’t been properly attached to carpet straps in the bedroom and that the laying job itself was flawed, causing even more seams to appear. To add to the frustration, his son did a shoddy job on the stairs, leaving the edges untacked and creating a huge mess in the family room. Finally, I discovered he’d cut the carpet too short in the bedroom, so it doesn’t reach the baseboards. I’ve contacted them repeatedly, but my calls have gone unanswered. Honestly, this was the worst carpet installation and the carpet itself is the worst I’ve ever seen.” report abuse

  Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Carpet One. The whole team really pulled together to get my carpet installed, and I was especially impressed with the installer – he was incredibly professional and got the job done, laying 600 square feet of carpet in just one day!   “The carpet installation was fantastic – truly excellent customer service and incredibly professional. The vinyl plank flooring looks amazing, but I did find the locking pieces from the manufacturer a little disappointing. They were quite brittle and didn’t seem to hold together as well as I’d hoped.” report abuse

Actually, the young lady was incredibly pleasant and really helpful.
