  Steve was fantastic – I couldn’t be happier with his work. He did two separate flooring jobs for me back in 2017, installing vinyl on my porch and sunroom, and he was incredibly meticulous and professional. He always showed up on time, and he always made sure to clean up thoroughly after each day’s work. Because of his quality work, I’ve received a lot of compliments. More recently, he fixed a hole in my carpet and is now doing a beautiful tiled walk-in shower in my guest bathroom. I’d absolutely recommend Steve and would definitely hire him again for any future projects. report abuse

  Steve has been absolutely fantastic to work with. I’ve used his services on several occasions, including for two rental properties and my own home, and I’ve consistently been impressed with the quality and professionalism of his work. He’s a really reliable and competitive contractor. I particularly want to highlight his responsiveness – he went above and beyond to resolve an issue with a manufacturing defect, ensuring the manufacturer replaced the carpet. And in another challenging situation, he expertly addressed a serious issue with an old fireplace surround, fabricating a brilliant repair and installing a new quartz hearth.   Steve has been an absolute pleasure to work with over the past couple of years on several of our home and rental projects.   Steve and his team did an absolutely fantastic job with our flooring and bathroom renovation! We were so impressed with their professionalism – they were always clean, on time, and really took pride in their work. You could tell they paid close attention to detail, and the finished kitchen floor and new shower stall were beautiful. It was also wonderful how considerate they were of our little one; they always called ahead and respected our baby gates.   “I couldn’t be happier with the work Steve’s Flooring did! They were incredibly professional and treated my home with the utmost care – they always cleaned up after themselves and never left a mess. Beyond just replacing the wood floors throughout the house and stairs, they also did an amazing job repairing and repainting my cabinets that had been damaged by my dog, plus they took care of some drywall repairs unrelated to the floor.   “I cannot recommend Steve from Steve’s Flooring. Unfortunately, our experience with him was incredibly disappointing. He attempted to improperly handle our insurance claim, which thankfully our adjuster identified before it went further. Beyond that, the quality of his work was subpar and amateurish. To make matters worse, he aggressively pushed for an extra $8,000 in repairs that were later deemed completely unnecessary by multiple independent experts.   I’m incredibly disappointed with the work Steve and his crew did on my new marble floors. They completely botched the toilet flange holes in the bathrooms, and even after the plumber from American Plumbing pointed out the mistakes and asked for a redo, they repeated the errors. Frankly, the plumber was concerned that Steve and his team didn’t understand basic measurement, and despite his repeated requests, they refused to fix it. I invested over $10,000 with Steve, and it’s unacceptable that they couldn't come back and correct their mistakes. report abuse
