  I cannot recommend hiring Raul Bernal Dominguez (or his father) for any renovation project. We hired them to remodel my elderly mother’s bathroom, and it’s been a truly awful experience. The project, which should have taken 35 days, dragged on for months with constant delays and a complete lack of communication. They made multiple significant errors, and we repeatedly caught them in lies. Most concerningly, they never obtained the necessary permits. My mother was left with a severely unfinished bathroom – months of exposed wiring, the distress of using a bedside potty, and no shower – all while they ignored our requests for completion or reimbursement. Despite our efforts, they continued to demand more money. After ten months, they’ve simply stopped responding. We’re now facing a bill of $7,415 to get someone else to finish the job. Be warned: they will likely attempt to shift the blame onto us, even though they were the ones failing to deliver on their promises. We have solid documentation to support our claims, and we strongly advise you to read the other negative reviews to see a pattern of similar issues. Please, choose a contractor with strong references – this was a huge mistake for us. report abuse

  “RB Construction was hired to repair my garage, with an agreed-upon timeframe of up to 20 days. However, despite numerous assurances from the owner, Raoul, that materials were being ordered and the job was a priority, they essentially did no work for over a month. He repeatedly told me they were dealing with expensive materials and checking other suppliers, but I never saw any evidence of this. Frankly, it was incredibly frustrating with no actual progress being made. Because they hadn’t fulfilled the contract’s terms, I contacted them to formally end our business relationship and request a refund, but I haven't heard back from them or received any money back. As you can see from the photos, the garage remains in the same state as when they started.” report abuse
