  “Honestly, we deeply regret not researching these builders more thoroughly before purchasing our first home. From the very beginning, we were so disappointed – we’d been hoping for a place to truly call home, but instead, we’ve experienced a constant stream of problems. Since moving in, we’ve dealt with leaks, uneven flooring, and windows that leak, and even squeaky floors just two months later. It’s been a truly awful experience, compounded by the fact that we’ve been completely unable to get anyone from the company to address these issues. To make matters worse, they even damaged our neighbor’s electrical box, and we’ve been covering their electricity bills ever since. They never bothered to correct their mistake. It’s been completely unresponsive and unprofessional, and I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to look elsewhere.” report abuse

  “We’ve been incredibly disappointed with our experience purchasing this townhome in 2019. We’ve run into a lot of problems, and frankly, the company has been very difficult to deal with – they’ve been consistently unresponsive. As a result, we’re now facing the cost of a complete shower remodel due to the poor workmanship during the initial construction, and we’re extremely concerned that water is leaking into the second floor.” report abuse

  “I really wouldn't recommend their latest builds – from my experience, they’ve been completely dishonest. We bought a home from them in February, and we’re still waiting on warranty repairs as of October. While I understand the challenges during the pandemic, getting any communication from our service representative, Lupita, has been incredibly difficult. It feels like their office is constantly dealing with unhappy customers and experiencing high turnover, which makes getting help a real struggle.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with this builder. As part of a nine-home new construction development, we’ve experienced a shocking number of major problems since 2018. My own house has been plagued with issues ranging from electrical and plumbing problems to flooring and roofing concerns, and honestly, it feels like almost every system has needed repair. Communication has been virtually nonexistent; we’ve constantly had to push for updates, often resorting to legal threats to get a response. Repairs we started five months ago are still outstanding, and I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of follow-through. I cannot recommend this builder.” report abuse

  Seriously, don’t even consider buying a house built by MTY. It’s a nightmare. We moved into a new construction a year ago, and it’s been nothing but problems – cracked walls, cracked floors, ceilings falling off. Dealing with them is an absolute joke; we’ve spent weeks calling and emailing, and they’re incredibly slow to respond, often blaming their workers. It’s incredibly frustrating and completely unacceptable. Stick with a different builder – you’ll save yourself a huge amount of stress. report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with this builder company. The quality of the work on our new home is shockingly poor, and we’ve already encountered several problems even within the warranty period. It’s been a nightmare trying to get them to address these issues – getting a response or a repair team out has felt impossible, requiring constant follow-ups.   “I cannot recommend buying a home from MTY. Their finishing work was consistently poor, and they repeatedly failed to follow through on repairs, even under warranty – promising to return and then never showing up.
