  I am incredibly disappointed with my experience with Alabama Climate Control. My 80-year-old mother has been a loyal customer for over 30 years, always paying promptly, and the service they provided was completely unacceptable. When our HVAC unit failed during the ice storm, we didn’t receive a return call from their answering service, and my mother attempted to contact them directly. Unfortunately, they refused to schedule a repair until the following morning due to a misunderstanding about her payment schedule, essentially abandoning her in a stressful situation. The technician simply left without explanation. To add insult to injury, we received a $100 bill days later. It’s appalling how they disregarded a long-standing customer, especially given the circumstances. I wouldn't recommend Alabama Climate Control to anyone. report abuse

  “We’ve been incredibly happy with Alabama Climate Control for years now. We’ve bought several Trane air conditioners from them and appreciate their fair prices. But what really sets them apart is their maintenance service – it’s outstanding! They’re always so responsive, offering same-day service and even calling to let us know when they’re on their way. Honestly, we wouldn't trust our AC system with anyone else; Alabama Climate Control and their Trane products are simply the best.” report abuse

  “I’m so happy with the service I received from Alabama Climate Control. They were incredibly responsive – I called with a broken AC and they had a technician out the very next morning. Nori in the office was fantastic, really friendly and professional, and made me feel like a valued customer. The technicians were also very polite and took the time to thoroughly explain the problem and discuss the different repair options with me, outlining the advantages and disadvantages of each.   Overall, my experience with the company was pretty frustrating. I originally had them install a unit, but it took a shocking three weeks instead of the promised three days, and I received absolutely no communication about the delays. I was left without heat for three weeks during the coldest weather, which was incredibly uncomfortable. I also found their office staff to be quite rude and not very communicative. However, I want to give a special shout-out to the technicians who actually came to my home – they were fantastic, especially the one who visited today, January 23, 2025.   “I’ve been incredibly pleased with Alabama Climate Control over the years. They’ve always been so responsive and provided fantastic service – we’ve used them for repairs on our aging system for over 20 years now. We recently had a new heat pump installed, and I was really impressed with the speed and professionalism. The whole job was done in a single day, and they had us up and running just two days after we first called about the issue.   Richard from Alabama Climate Control was absolutely fantastic! He responded to my call within a couple of hours and quickly diagnosed and fixed my broken A/C unit. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and took great precautions – wearing a mask and shoe coverings. The whole repair process took less than an hour, and I’m so pleased with the service I received. I highly recommend Richard and Alabama Climate Control – they’re fantastic! report abuse
