  “My wife and I really appreciate our move here from Merced – we weren’t quite sure where to start looking for a place in Montgomery until we found Lowder. Our family had spoken so highly of them, and we were so pleased to be working with Terri and Ron. They really took the time to guide us through the whole process and find us a retirement home that fit both our needs and our budget. I was initially worried about purely profit-driven sales, but I quickly realized Lowder genuinely cares about providing the best possible home for their residents. We absolutely love our home – the construction is solid, the appliances are fantastic, and the community is beautifully maintained; they even repaved the streets last summer! And we really appreciate the security cameras at the entrance. Everything they promised was delivered, and they’ve continued to be there for us even after two years.   I’m incredibly disappointed with Lowder’s handling of this serious plumbing issue at my home. I’ve been experiencing multiple leaks, and instead of taking responsibility for the defective PEX tubing they installed, they simply pointed me towards a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturer. They refused to acknowledge their role as the builder and offered no assistance with the costly repairs. It’s incredibly frustrating that they aren’t standing behind their work, especially considering they were the ones who installed the faulty pipes. Other builders would have stepped up and covered the costs, but Lowder has shown no compassion or willingness to rectify their mistake. I’m worried this is a widespread problem with their PEX installations, and I truly hope they’ll take ownership of the issue and help me get my home properly repaired. report abuse

  Honestly, I was really surprised to hear people thought these were good quality homes. Having lived in several houses in different states, I can confidently say the workmanship here is significantly below standard. There were a lot of misalignments and crooked details, and the paint job was just amateurish. Plus, the yard slopes right towards my property, causing frequent porch flooding. The doors have obvious gaps around the seals, and frankly, I only rented this place because of its proximity to Blount Elementary – I wouldn’t pay anywhere near the asking price for it. report abuse
