  “I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with Spartan Concrete. Three years ago, they installed a Kool Deck for our pool remodel, and it’s already falling apart – cracking and peeling. We were initially told the warranty was no longer valid, but I spent over four months chasing Spartan for a resolution, repeatedly being promised a callback that never came. Ultimately, they refused to take responsibility, claiming they were too busy and that California Pools had to initiate the repairs. The original bill was over $8,000, and now it’s going to cost us another $1,500 to fix their shoddy work. Honestly, I wouldn’t use them again. They clearly don’t stand behind their work, and it’s unacceptable.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with Spartan Concrete. From the very beginning, the quality of their work was subpar – my decking has had constant issues with chips, cracks, and uneven surfaces that trap water. Despite numerous promises to fix the problems, they repeatedly delayed repairs with excuses and ultimately ran out of warranty. Getting a technician to my property was consistently difficult, often due to what seemed like a lack of organization or prioritizing other jobs. Their communication was shockingly poor; they’d call at the end of the day and then be unavailable when I tried to follow up. Frankly, it felt like they were deliberately avoiding responsibility. Two different individuals claimed to be the owner, both made commitments to resolve the issues, but nothing was ever truly fixed. They seemed more interested in applying temporary fixes like epoxy and paint instead of addressing the underlying problems. After five years of dealing with this, I’m just utterly frustrated and exhausted. I rarely complain about these things, but I want to warn others – steer clear of Spartan Concrete. If your pool company uses them, I’d strongly recommend finding an alternative.” report abuse
