  “We had Spartan Concrete install our Kool Deck decking three years ago, and unfortunately, it’s already falling apart. We’re seeing significant cracking and peeling, and we were shocked to be told it was no longer under warranty after just three years. We spent over four months chasing Spartan Concrete for a resolution – constantly being promised a call back and assurances they stood behind their work, but nothing ever materialized. Ultimately, they refused to fix the problem, claiming they could only address it if California Pools requested it. It’s incredibly frustrating because the original cost of the decking was over $8,000, and now we’re facing a $1,500 repair bill. We absolutely would not use Spartan Concrete again – their work is clearly substandard, and they don’t honor their commitments.” report abuse

  “I can’t recommend Spartan Concrete. My experience with them has been absolutely terrible and frankly, incredibly frustrating. From the very beginning, the quality of their work was substandard – my decking has had chips, cracks, and uneven surfaces that collect water. Despite multiple promises to fix the issues, they’ve consistently failed to deliver, using every excuse imaginable to delay the repairs and ultimately avoid their responsibility, especially once the warranty expired. Getting a response from them was a nightmare; they’d call at the end of the day and vanish, and then wouldn't return our calls. It felt like they were deliberately avoiding communication. Two different people even claimed to be the owners, yet neither followed through. They just seemed focused on covering up the problems with epoxy and paint instead of actually fixing the underlying issues. I’ve been dealing with this for over five years, and I’m incredibly disappointed. It's been a huge hassle, especially considering the cost of my pool. Honestly, I would urge anyone considering this company to steer clear. If your pool company uses them, I’d strongly suggest finding another decking company – it’s just not worth the aggravation.” report abuse
