I’m really disappointed with this company’s behavior during the construction near the 303 and Camelback in Goodyear. They’ve repeatedly blocked the road to allow their workers to leave, completely disregarding traffic flow and safety. It’s causing massive backups and forcing drivers onto a dangerous dirt road – and, incredibly, one of their flaggers was even involved in an accident while directing traffic on that road. I’m going to be sharing this information on Nextdoor and Facebook to warn other residents and encourage them to file complaints with the City of Goodyear. If this continues, I’ll be providing video evidence to OSHA to address the serious safety concerns regarding their workers blocking a main road.

“The driver was exhibiting very unsafe behavior – speeding well over 90 mph and making erratic lane changes without signaling. They were also weaving in and out of traffic, which was concerning and appeared unprofessional.”
-
“This is a serious concern. The use of individuals with a history of substance use disorder operating elevators raises significant safety and operational questions. It’s vital to thoroughly examine the hiring process and ensure appropriate background checks and training are in place to mitigate potential risks.”
-
I’m incredibly frustrated with the response I’ve received. Despite multiple calls regarding the early morning construction starting at 4:15 am in OldTown Scottsdale, completely disregarding city noise ordinances, they haven’t acknowledged our complaints. It’s unacceptable to be woken up so early in a residential area, and frankly, it feels like our concerns are being completely ignored.
-
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend Layton Construction. We experienced a lot of disruptive noise during their building hours, and it seemed they weren’t considerate of the surrounding neighborhood.
-
“We observed a serious issue with one of the drivers – they were going significantly over the speed limit, around 90 miles per hour, on the 202 heading west. The driving was incredibly erratic, with frequent and unsafe lane changes. It seemed like driver retraining might be a valuable consideration.”
-
It sounded like a really friendly get-together – just two guys catching up at a meet and greet.
-
This company truly seems to operate with a fantastic culture – it’s clear they’ve built a really positive and effective environment.
-
“This company consistently earns high praise – they’re really considered one of the top construction firms in the area.”
-
Layton Construction is a truly outstanding firm – they have a fantastic team and a really impressive approach to their work.
