  I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Mario in the wood cutting section – he was fantastic! Home Depot, you have a real gem working for you. He went above and beyond to help me with my project, really listening to my challenges and sharing his knowledge generously. Seriously, someone give him a hug – he made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you, Mario! On the other hand, I had a less positive experience with one of the folks in the flooring department; she seemed pretty disengaged and just directed me to look things up online. report abuse

  Honestly, my experience renting the rototiller was pretty disappointing. The rental price was reasonable, but the machine had some minor issues when I picked it up and tested it, and the employee just assured me it would be okay. Unfortunately, it wouldn't even move loose dirt – it was completely useless. I returned it and explained the problem, but they weren’t willing to offer any kind of discount for the hassle of transporting it back and forth. They insisted on charging the full rental fee plus additional fees and a new contract for a bigger machine, which felt completely unreasonable during this economic time. Because of this, I’ll definitely be avoiding this rental place in the future. report abuse

  “I really want to give a warning about this tool rental – the service was incredibly poor. They were consistently understaffed, which meant massive wait times for everything. Honestly, if you’re looking for reliable service, I’d avoid the location on Carefree and Cave Creek; you’ll likely have a much better experience elsewhere.” report abuse
