They didn’t just point fingers; they got right in there, working alongside us to find solutions and keep the project on track. Their proactive approach, directly communicating with everyone involved, was fantastic and really prevented any delays or further complications. Ultimately, we finished both projects smoothly, with no extra costs or markups from Forrester – which we really appreciate.   “Our experience working on the Connecticut Avenue renovation project at 815 – a project that spanned nearly two years – was, frankly, incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We invested almost $800,000 in changes and provided almost all of the funding ourselves. However, just one month before completion, Forrester suddenly raised serious concerns about the quality of the work and installation, unexpectedly back-charging us $80,000. It’s unbelievable to have spent so long working on a project with no oversight and then be blindsided like that. After a year of dealing with this situation, we finally reached a settlement, but even then, we were shorted $5,500 on the final check. Their claim that we hadn’t completed the project felt completely unjustified given our efforts. Because of this entire experience, we will not be working with Forrester Construction again.” report abuse
