  Overall, we were really pleased with Russ Glickman and his team. We’d heard about their work through a colleague and were particularly drawn to their ability to create accessible and beautiful home designs. Russ responded quickly to our initial inquiry and we had a fantastic meeting where they listened carefully to our needs and offered some brilliant ideas. They presented a really broad range of design options and price points, which was incredibly helpful since we weren’t entirely sure of what we were looking for – they really took the time to understand our vision. The designs themselves were innovative, stylish, and beautifully illustrated. The pricing was competitive with other contractors we spoke with. While we ultimately decided to move forward with a different design, we absolutely recommend Russ Glickman and his team. report abuse

  “We had a fantastic experience with this firm for our large renovation project, and they received wonderful reviews. However, I want to strongly advise against using them for smaller jobs. We hired them based on those positive reviews and their friendly approach, but unfortunately, the quality of their work was seriously lacking. The contractor used inferior materials and subcontractors who didn’t follow the agreed-upon specifications. It was incredibly concerning to discover that a portion of our roof had fallen off due to improperly attached materials – had we been present, we could have been seriously injured. Multiple inspections confirmed the use of inappropriate fasteners that wouldn’t have been able to support the roof’s weight. It was a very frightening situation, and I urge anyone considering a smaller job to proceed with extreme caution.” report abuse

  Overall, Glickman DesignBuild did a truly wonderful job on our addition. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. There was a little initial stress figuring out the budget and the scope of the project – expanding our kitchen and creating a great room with a screened porch was a significant undertaking. However, once we finalized the design, everything ran incredibly smoothly. Justin Wigfield, our project manager, was outstanding; he was always responsive and addressed any concerns we had right away. We were also really impressed with the subcontractors – they were all hardworking and professional, and the whole team worked diligently to keep things moving quickly. Despite the six-month timeline, most of the work was actually completed in about four months. And throughout the entire process, they kept everything incredibly clean and organized. We absolutely love our new room and porch, and we couldn't be happier with the result! report abuse
