They listened carefully to our needs and helped us create the perfect doors for our entire house. The difference in how smoothly they open and close compared to our old doors is amazing, and we absolutely love how they’ve enhanced our property.   “I’m incredibly disappointed with the front door we purchased from Allied Iron. We paid $8,000 for it, and it’s simply not functioning as it should. Almost immediately, we noticed significant drafts blowing through the sidelights, letting in hot air and, worryingly, small animals. When we contacted Allied Iron about this, they suggested we come to their office – a 1.5-hour drive – to pick up weather stripping ourselves. We managed to fix the gaps ourselves, but then we had a major rainstorm, and water poured through the door, creating puddles under our floor. Considering the door is 8 feet under our roofline, it’s clear there’s a serious problem with the sealing. We’re constantly dealing with condensation building up inside the door, and we have to dry it out with towels after every rain. For the amount of money we spent on what was advertised as a high-quality door, it’s utterly unacceptable that it can’t even keep rain and wind out. I would strongly advise anyone considering this product to think twice.” report abuse

  Overall, we were incredibly pleased with our experience with Allied. They stood out from the other manufacturers we looked at – the quality was simply superior. Derrick, our salesperson, was fantastic; he really took the time to understand what we were looking for and patiently explained everything, so we felt completely informed throughout the whole process. And to top it all off, the installation was flawless – they were incredibly careful and didn’t damage a single thing, not even our stucco or tiles. report abuse

Everyone we dealt with – Daleana, the tech who measured, and the installers – were exceptionally pleasant, professional, and easy to work with. It took a little over two months to get it done, but honestly, it was totally worth the wait. I really appreciated being able to see the door being made locally, and they seamlessly installed my existing oil rubbed bronze lock that connects to my security system.
