“Overall, KE&G has done a fantastic job revitalizing our streets – the workers were incredibly courteous and hardworking, and the results are really impressive. We’re really pleased with how the area looks and are excited to see the project finished. Thanks to the City of Tucson for choosing KE&G, and we hope they continue to do great work and potentially expand their services city-wide!”

“Honestly, I’m incredibly frustrated. While I appreciate they’re working, the timing of their operations – particularly starting so early like 5 am – is completely unacceptable. It’s incredibly disruptive and disrespectful to the people living nearby. They need to be aware of noise ordinances and be much more considerate of the neighborhood.”

“I just wanted to say how impressed I was with KE&G’s work on our street last month. They were incredibly friendly and professional throughout the whole process – really made a difference during what can be a stressful time with the construction. And, importantly, the road looks fantastic and rides really smoothly now!”

I’m incredibly disappointed with the way this situation was handled. This morning, a tow truck arrived and the driver was immediately verbally abusive, yelling at me while the superintendent simply watched from his truck. There was no prior notification about road milling, and the driver insisted I move my car based on a vague “milling” explanation and a misinterpreted overhead power line warning sign. It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I contacted the office to complain, but the response was dismissive, and I haven’t received a callback. The driver’s initial aggressive behavior, combined with the lack of communication and the superintendent’s inaction, created a truly frustrating experience. It felt like a complete lack of accountability and a serious failure in customer service. Frankly, the whole interaction was handled with a shocking disregard for my property and my peace of mind. I’m requesting that KE&G seriously address these communication and customer service issues, especially regarding street construction and how their staff responds to residents.

“I just wanted to say what a fantastic job the KE&G crew did! They quickly identified and fixed the water leak at my home, and the cleanup was absolutely spotless – they even left everything looking exactly as it was before. Thank you so much!”

“I’m incredibly frustrated with the service we received. It’s unbelievable that they delivered flyers weeks before the road was actually sealed, and then they had to come back and redo a significant portion of the work because of a simple mistake. They just showed up unannounced at 7:30 am to tell us they were doing it – completely unprofessional! Worse, they disregarded the agreed-upon work zone, ending up resealing the road right in front of our house, despite being told not to. They’ve already applied two coats, and now they’re adding a third unnecessarily. To top it all off, we’ve now had to pay to reschedule our trash pickup because they didn’t provide any advance notice after this last-minute change.”

I had a really frustrating experience with the city water department and the company, KEG, who installed the new water meters. Shortly after they replaced our meters a few months ago, we discovered a significant water leak near the new meter, alerted by a neighbor. KEG came out to fix it, and they confirmed it was a cracked PVC pipe. Before the meter change, my water bills were consistently under $30 a month. Now, I’m being charged $348 for that month – it’s completely unacceptable. I contacted the City of Tucson’s Risk Management department with my bills, but they refused to assist me. KEG then changed their story, claiming there was no leak and that I wasn't home, suggesting someone was flooding my yard with an open outdoor faucet. This is a blatant lie, as I was home and the meter itself was leaking. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but they didn’t even acknowledge it, wasting my time. Honestly, it feels like a huge scam. I wouldn’t recommend KEG or the city’s involvement – they seem dishonest and unhelpful.

“I was really impressed with the team – they’re genuinely kind and helpful people who seem to truly care about assisting others. While I’m not sure I’ll require their services regularly, it’s refreshing to see a company that’s invested in the community.”

Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on that text: “Overall, this company has a lot of potential, but I have serious concerns. A score of 60 feels inaccurate – the impact of someone like Rob is significantly underrepresented. It’s incredibly frustrating to see a person in a leadership role behave in such a dismissive and unreliable way; he makes promises and then completely ignores them. Frankly, it's baffling how someone with that kind of behavior could be in a position of authority within such a respected organization.”
-
“K E & G has been in business for 50 years for a reason – they simply do things right. They’re a truly professional and reliable team, with a wealth of experience and a real commitment to safety. If you’re looking for a solid general contractor you can trust, K E & G is the company to call.”
