They were also incredibly accommodating with the delivery and pickup, really going the extra mile to fit our schedule.   Overall, my experience renting this equipment was really frustrating. From the start, the customer service was quite impersonal – the people I spoke with seemed eager to hang up. Then, to make matters worse, a hydraulic line broke during my rental, which apparently happens frequently with this machine. When I reported it, I was told someone would be out “today,” but no one showed for over three hours. I kept getting vague answers about when they’d arrive, and finally someone came out nearly four hours later at 8:45 pm, promising a fix for the next day, which never happened. I had to repeatedly call to find out why no one was coming. It wasn't until Saturday at 9 am that the issue was actually resolved. The process of returning the equipment was also slow – they didn’t pick it up until Tuesday, and I was charged for the entire rental period, Friday through Tuesday. Thankfully, they corrected the billing after I contacted them. report abuse

  “I had a really terrible experience renting from ABC. They were completely unprofessional – I was incorrectly charged, there was no communication from them at all, and they even delivered the wrong size tractor. To top it off, when I tried to pick it up, the tractor got stuck, causing a mess on my neighbor’s driveway. I would strongly advise against renting from them.” report abuse

  “I’ve been consistently renting equipment from them – usually 2-3 times a week – and I’ve always been really impressed with their service. They’re incredibly accommodating, especially with the unpredictable weather and busy summer season. It’s never been a hassle to work with them, and I’ve always been able to get in touch with someone, no matter the day. The equipment itself is fantastic, and everything has been top quality.   Honestly, I had a really frustrating experience renting an excavator from them. The equipment itself was in good working order, which was a relief, but the whole process was incredibly disorganized. They changed the delivery fee on the spot, quoting me one price and then hitting me with a much higher one when they arrived. It felt like a bait-and-switch. Plus, the fuel charge seemed way off for the type of excavator I was renting. I ended up handling the fuel myself to avoid getting overcharged – it felt like I was dealing with someone trying to take advantage of me.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. I contacted them looking for a good price on screened topsoil for a recent yard project, and they definitely seemed competitive. I ended up buying eleven loads, and after spending a significant amount of money, I was shocked to find my yard completely overrun with weeds and fireweed just two weeks later. It’s clear the topsoil wasn’t properly screened, and honestly, it felt like I was completely taken advantage of. I also rented a skid steer from them, which just added to the frustration.   Overall, it’s been a really pleasant experience working with this company. Amanda was fantastic – she handled the rental setup so smoothly, and Roger was a great driver. They were both genuinely good people, and I’m confident the rest of the team is just as reliable.   Honestly, I’d strongly advise against using this company. They’ve been incredibly unreliable – they’d promise to supply equipment and then pull out at the last minute, even after we’d already secured operators and all the necessary arrangements. It’s cost me a significant amount of money and a huge amount of wasted time. They seem to thrive on frustration, and I’d really recommend exploring other options if at all possible. report abuse
