  I had a really frustrating experience with Amazing HVAC. The technician finally arrived around 4:30 pm after waiting all day, and he essentially just went through the motions while I explained the problem with my system. Then, he immediately tried to charge me $1400 to simply refill the unit – demanding a 50% deposit upfront and saying he’d need another day to finalize the price. I contacted a few other HVAC companies and found much more reasonable rates. After discussing the situation with Vic, the supervisor, it took a full two weeks to get my money back. Honestly, I was shocked – I’d been really impressed by Amazing’s commercials, but this whole experience has completely changed my opinion. I wouldn't recommend them, and I certainly won’t be using their services or referring anyone else. report abuse

  “I was really impressed with the service – Alex did a fantastic job diagnosing the problem and getting it fixed quickly. I especially appreciated Amazing’s responsiveness; they were able to get someone out here and complete the repairs within 24 hours of my initial call.   Austin did a fantastic job with my seasonal HVAC maintenance. As a new homeowner, I was still getting to know my system, so I opted for the maintenance package. Austin was incredibly knowledgeable, patiently answered all my questions, and was particularly helpful in explaining the condition of my coil – it was really overdue for service.   Austin was absolutely fantastic – he not only fixed our A.C. perfectly, but he really went above and beyond! He took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, even uncovering a hidden problem we weren’t aware of. He was incredibly polite and friendly, and our pets seemed to love him too.   I can’t recommend this company. My experience was incredibly frustrating and, frankly, felt like a scam. I hired them to clean out and service my house before selling it, but from the start things went wrong. A technician showed up unannounced for what he claimed was an inspection, despite me not having requested one. After I corrected him, they refused to honor my original service order, claiming they didn't offer it as a one-time service. Then, they canceled my scheduled service due to the extreme heat, only for my air conditioning to start having problems shortly after. It took three days to get someone out, and I was met with constant excuses about communication issues. Finally, the technician identified a repair needing $700, and then insisted I pay a $79 “showing up” fee, even though that work should have been covered by my regular service! To add insult to injury, a local handyman fixed the same problem for $50. It’s clear they’re significantly overcharging customers, and when issues arise, they offer nothing but excuses. Seriously, avoid this company – you’ll likely end up paying far too much and dealing with a terrible experience. report abuse

  Austin was fantastic – he was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and he thoroughly checked our system, offering really sound advice. Given that it’s 16 years old and wasn’t holding a charge (which he correctly identified as a potential leak), he strongly recommended replacement, which made a lot of sense. I hadn’t even considered that age as a factor. He was also really helpful in clarifying that our home warranty only covered a specific type of system, and he took the initiative to call the office and schedule an estimate with a technician to come out within the next two hours. Honestly, with temperatures consistently close to 100 degrees, I’m so grateful he was able to get someone out here so quickly – especially considering my daughter has health issues and the heat really impacts her. report abuse

  I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Brendan – he was fantastic! We had a new AC system installed last year, and he followed up today for a really thorough inspection. I was so impressed that there was no charge for this follow-up; it was actually part of the original installation quote. Brendan took the time to explain exactly what he was checking and why, and the inspection was incredibly detailed – way beyond what I expected. Seriously, his service was exceptional! report abuse
