  “I’ve been a loyal customer of this business for years, both renting equipment and buying everything from new to used items. I’m always really impressed with the quality of their equipment and, honestly, their customer service is fantastic – it’s the kind of genuine, helpful service you don’t see much of anymore. Recently, I needed a specific part for my Stihl trimmer, and when no one else could find a new one, they were able to locate it from a used model they had in stock and get me back to work.   “Aabco was really convenient – they’re located close to downtown and the staff were all very friendly. I rented a small auger for a half-day job, but unfortunately, a pin broke while I was using it. I brought it back, and they quickly repaired it for me, which took about an hour. As a thank you, they let me keep the unit for the whole day at the half-day rate – a really thoughtful gesture!” report abuse

  “I was really impressed with this company! I brought in my Ryobi backpack blower that wasn't starting, and they didn’t just take my money – they took the time to diagnose the problem with me. They identified that I was trying to start it incorrectly, and thankfully, they refused to process a warranty without making sure I understood how to use the tool properly.   I had a really frustrating experience with Aabco Rents. I brought in my pressure washer on June 10th, 2020, and was initially told it would take a week to repair. They quoted me $200 to fix the seals, and then a week later, the price jumped to $350. After agreeing to that, I was given updates that the repair was taking longer than expected. Then, suddenly, they told me it wasn’t the seals that were the problem, but a crack in the pump, and the cost went up to $530! I refused that offer. I finally picked up my pressure washer on July 24th, and to my surprise, it was just a matter of removing four bolts – it took less than five minutes to replace it. I’ve never done this kind of work before, but it was incredibly straightforward. They were going to charge me $250 for this simple job, which felt completely unreasonable. I even found the same pump at Lowe's for $230! Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend Aabco Rents. As a retired Navy veteran with 20 years of service, I’ve dealt with repairs before, and this was a completely disorganized and overpriced experience. report abuse

  “I had a great experience at Aabco Rents. They were really friendly and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with my pressure washer and the repair process. Unfortunately, the shipping was delayed due to COVID, but Jeff went out of his way to keep me updated and ensure I got the equipment I needed quickly.   Honestly, we were incredibly disappointed with the service we received. The equipment arrived late and, to our surprise, was completely empty of hydraulic fluid. The technician addressed the initial leak by refilling it twice, but the problem quickly returned and the leak worsened significantly. After Aabco attempted a repair, the issue was even worse than before. We were promised extra time to compensate for the delay and inconvenience, but that never materialized. Given the entire experience – the late delivery, the persistent leak, and the lack of promised compensation – we wouldn’t hesitate to give them a one-star rating, and we’re planning to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. report abuse

They’re incredibly responsive when I’ve had any issues, and the team is friendly and courteous – it’s exactly the kind of service you want when you need a generator.   “They weren’t able to rent me the pressure washer – it seemed they were concerned about the car I was driving. Actually, it was a hatchback, and it measured perfectly, so it easily fit the machine. Basically, if you’re hauling something bigger, you’ll need a truck to rent from them.” report abuse
