  Honestly, building our dream home with Whitmore Custom Homes in East Grand Rapids was an incredible experience. From the very beginning, Nate Whitmore and his team made us feel truly valued and cared for. What really stood out was how involved we were throughout the entire process. They kept us updated daily with photos and videos, and their BuilderTrend software made it so easy to manage all of our selections – ensuring everything arrived on time for the builders to install. Nate Host, the Operations Manager, was fantastic; he was always available to answer any questions and proactively addressed any potential issues. We also want to give a huge shout-out to the team at Raye Designs – Colleen Dawson and Averie Harris were absolutely phenomenal! They really listened to our vision and created a stunning design that perfectly captured what we were hoping for. It was a true partnership between Raye Designs and Whitmore Custom Homes. We’re so thrilled with the finished product – the attention to detail is outstanding, and we’re so grateful that Whitmore Custom Homes stuck to their plan and delivered a home of exceptional quality and craftsmanship.   Whitmore and Ryan were absolutely fantastic to work with! We recently finished renovating our home after an 8-month addition, and the entire process was incredibly smooth thanks to Ryan’s professionalism and responsiveness. From the initial planning stages through to the final move-in, he was always available and kept us fully informed. Seriously, he responded to every phone call and text almost immediately, and we always felt completely confident knowing exactly where we stood financially.   We were honestly prepared for a stressful building experience, but Whitmore Homes completely exceeded our expectations.   Overall, we absolutely loved our experience building our new home with Whitmore Homes. It was our first time building long distance, which admittedly added a layer of complexity, but the Whitmore team really made it feel seamless. Nate was fantastic – he was incredibly patient as we went back and forth with design changes and selections, always honest and professional, and truly seemed to want us to be happy. Ryan and Brett were a little less involved, but they were clearly working hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. We were also really impressed with the quality of the contractors; they were all skilled, friendly, and very thorough. Jason Nuff, in particular, was outstanding as the project coordinator – he had a real eye for detail and kept everything on track. And Cari Martin, the designer, did a brilliant job. From start to finish, the Whitmore team delivered an absolutely beautiful home, and we couldn't be happier.
