  “I was so relieved to find Beyond Flooring! I needed a specific tile to fix a plumbing issue in my shower, and honestly, I was dreading the hunt – our old duplex was built in the 1930s and used imported Italian tile. I checked everywhere in L.A. County, but then I just happened to stumble upon Beyond Flooring, which was incredibly convenient being right nearby. The owner, Jay, was fantastic – really friendly and down-to-earth, and we even had a nice chat about everything going on. They were able to find a nearly perfect match to the original tile, and the price was unbelievably good, much better than all the other places I’d been driving all over.   “Beyond Flooring was absolutely fantastic! I was really overwhelmed trying to find everything I needed for my renovation, but then my general contractor recommended them, and I’m so glad he did. Lev was a huge help – he guided me through choosing the perfect porcelain tiles for my bathroom and quartz for the kitchen, and I even got my waterproof laminate flooring and bathroom accessories there. They saved me a ton of money, and Lev and Jay were just so friendly and helpful that I genuinely wanted to continue doing business with them.   “I’m so happy I found this place! After looking at a lot of showrooms, the service was outstanding – especially thanks to Jay. They had an incredible selection of beautiful bathroom fixtures, and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for, including the perfect flooring and some gorgeous black shower drains.   Honestly, I had a really frustrating experience with this company. I placed an order for tiles, and from the start, getting in touch with anyone was nearly impossible. I called multiple times, but couldn’t seem to reach anyone. Because my contractor needed these tiles urgently, I went to the showroom, and the initial employee was completely dismissive, just asking what I wanted. He passed the issue on to Jay, but he never responded to my calls or texts. I ended up having to call just to confirm my order was ready, and even then, the same employee was glued to his phone and offered very little help. Another employee was even worse, trying to load the tiles in a way that seemed likely to damage them, and he just rolled his eyes when I asked him to flip them. The whole situation felt incredibly unprofessional and uncaring. The biggest problem was Jay’s complete lack of communication – he simply didn’t respond to me at all. It was incredibly stressful, especially since I was relying on this order. It seems like he’s more interested in responding to online reviews than actually helping his customers. It was strange that he only contacted me after I’d left this review, claiming he was on vacation. Overall, the customer service here was severely lacking, and I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone. report abuse
