  Honestly, I was really disappointed with my experience. Manager Brad Ledbetter seemed incredibly dismissive – he wouldn't even let me explain that the lift I rented had a dead battery. He immediately jumped to the conclusion that I was trying to get a refund, which I wasn't. I ended up having to buy a new battery myself to complete a job. Also, the automated phone system’s after-hours and weekend prompts were confusing and frustrating. And when I picked up the equipment, the people at the counter didn’t offer any guidance or let me know who to contact if I had any questions. report abuse

  “I was really impressed with this team – they’re incredibly reliable and always willing to help, even when things don’t go perfectly on my side. I especially appreciated that they didn’t just give me a recorded message when I had a question; someone actually answered the phone! They seem to specialize in working with contractors, so it’s best to contact them for that type of need. For things like weddings or party rentals, Alabama Rentals is another great option.” report abuse

  I rented a propane arc welder from this company for a job in Montgomery, Alabama, and unfortunately, the experience was really frustrating. They provided the ground clamp and electrode holder initially, but when I arrived at the job site, the electrode holder was missing. I had to buy a replacement with the necessary connections myself. To add to the problem, we ran out of propane, and when I tried to get the tank refilled, I discovered it hadn't been inspected and was from 1999 – they couldn’t fill it. I ended up having to pay to get a new tank. The worst part was, the company completely ignored my calls; I’d get a response saying they’d get back to me, but I never heard anything. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using this company again. report abuse

  “I rented a dump trailer from them and unfortunately, the battery was completely dead when I picked it up. I plugged it in overnight, but the next day it barely lifted the trailer before the battery died again. I ended up having to constantly use jumper cables to get it working, which really slowed down my project. To be honest, the $10 they offered as compensation felt pretty insulting. It was a really frustrating experience, and it was clear the trailer wasn’t in good condition, so it was definitely my first and last rental with this company.” report abuse

  “Overall, my experience was incredibly frustrating. The customer service felt dismissive and like they were inconvenienced to be helping me. Adding to that, the management and security staff seemed overly controlling and arrogant. It really felt like they were putting on a show. Honestly, I won’t be returning, and I think it’s important for them to remember that customers are the ones who ultimately make their business successful – not the other way around.” report abuse

  “I was really taken aback by their approach – they insisted on collecting my driver’s license and phone number just to give me a rental quote. Plus, their prices were significantly higher than the other company just down the street. It took me a solid ten minutes just to get a price, and honestly, I dread to think how long it would take someone else to actually rent something from them.” report abuse
