I had a really frustrating experience at Home Depot with one of the employees, Ty. He charged me an unnecessary cleaning fee and tried to bill me for a rental period that was longer than what I actually needed. When I questioned this, he was incredibly rude and dismissive, just kind of waving his hands at me. I then requested to speak with a manager, and Steven Bond was fantastic and resolved the issue, issuing me a full refund. Honestly, Ty needs to seriously rethink his approach to customer service – it’s completely unacceptable, and I definitely won't be renting from Home Depot again as long as he’s working there.

“I was incredibly disappointed with my recent experience renting equipment from this location. We waited an entire week for a large piece of machinery to become available, and when it arrived, the staff had no idea how to operate it or offer any guidance. I ended up having to figure it out myself. To add to the frustration, the trailer lights weren’t working, and after nearly 35 minutes of what seemed like a half-hearted attempt to fix it – apparently involving a missing electrical tester (seriously, Home Depot?) – they just gave up. Worse yet, the equipment wasn't secured at all, and they couldn’t even show me how to properly chain it down. Despite all this, they were willing to let me drive off with non-functioning lights and unsecured equipment. I nearly lost the machinery on the first turn, and the insurance policy they offered wouldn’t have covered the potential $28,000 loss. Honestly, this was by far the worst rental experience I've had, especially considering I’ve rented from Home Depot locations across the state. Save yourself the trouble and pay the extra $75 to rent from a different company.”

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience. It feels like I was significantly overcharged and misled throughout the entire process. I shared details about my job, and you provided equipment that wasn't suitable for the task. I was given an initial price that changed multiple times, and ultimately had to rent an extra machine, blowing my budget by $800. To top it off, after returning the equipment, I was told I could have obtained a more powerful machine elsewhere. Frankly, this feels like a rip-off, and I’m extremely concerned about the way this was handled. Because of this, your company is now on probation with me.

This Home Depot consistently gets rave reviews, and it’s clear why! The staff is truly exceptional, particularly Jim in tool rentals who went above and beyond to answer my questions and get me set up quickly. It’s fantastic to see such a friendly and professional team – I wholeheartedly recommend this store.

“I had a really positive experience at Home Depot – the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the rental process was surprisingly easy. I just needed a hammer drill for a small job, and it was much cheaper to rent it there than to buy a drill and the specific bit I needed.”

I’m really disappointed with my experience renting from this place. I’ve had two separate issues with broken equipment, and frankly, it’s been incredibly frustrating. However, the worst part was the interaction I had when I returned the second piece of equipment. The woman I spoke with was incredibly confrontational and made me feel like I was the problem, even though I was just trying to resolve the situation. Because of her attitude, I won’t be renting from them again.

“I had a really frustrating experience trying to rent something from this place. The woman at the desk was incredibly rude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Ultimately, I ended up going to Sunbelt Rentals and getting a much better service and a bigger machine for a similar price.”
-
“I was really impressed with the selection of items available for rent – it had everything I needed to handle various tasks around the house. And the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience really easy.”
-
This is a really solid find! It’s incredibly convenient and they have a fantastic selection of tools at prices that are hard to beat.
-
Honestly, my experience with customer service here was really disappointing. The representatives seemed incredibly dismissive and acted like we were a nuisance just asking to rent equipment. It felt very elitist and I wouldn’t recommend going there unless you absolutely had no other options.
